System C Healthcare plc Pre-Close Trading Update System C Healthcare plc (AIM: SYS) ("System C" or "the Company"), a leading provider of information solutions and services to the health and social care sector, is pleased to provide the following trading update for the six months ending 30 November 2009, prior to entering its close period. Revenues, profit and cash have continued to grow as forecast, and the Company is on track to meet consensus market expectations for the full year. Significant increases in revenues and profits over the same period in 2008/9 reflect both strong organic growth and the impact of the acquisitions of Liquidlogic and Bluestar. Products Sales and deployments of System C's flagship Medway Sigma product suite continue to progress well. Over the last six months the Company has deployed 11 Medway Sigma products, including a clinical information system at Aintree University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, multiple deployments of its dashboard and portal modules, and an island-wide social services system and pilot ambulance system for the Isle of Man government. A contract with NHS Connecting for Health, to develop and install clinical intelligence systems in NHS Trusts, is making good progress. The Company is now looking to benefit from the ASCC framework contract that it holds with the NHS as trusts across the South of England procure the next generation of centrally-funded computer systems. Liquidlogic, acquired in July 2009 for a consideration of up to £14.2m, has continued to gain market share in the social care sector. One of the main drivers behind the Liquidlogic transaction was to provide integrated care solutions across the health and social care sectors, and work has already begun on a number of cross-organisational projects. Services Services revenues have grown significantly in line with projections. Activity has continued to increase in the Company's stronghold area of deploying a wide range of third party systems for NHS trusts across the UK. The Company also remains heavily involved in deploying third party products from iSoft and Cerner under the National Programme for IT, with both NHS Connecting for Health and Local Service Providers as clients. Dr Ian Denley, CEO of System C, said: "We are continuing to benefit from our reputation for quality and delivery. This, together with the strong synergy between the products and services divisions, is driving our sales growth. "We continue to expand and develop our product range, in line with the strategy we have set out previously, and product sales now account for approximately 50% of revenues. We see many opportunities in both the product and services business and remain confident of reporting continuing progress through the second half of the year.

forgot that SYS are aiming to go multinational System C demonstrates its products at Arab Health 25 January 2010 System C Healthcare today took the wraps off its stand at Arab Health 2010, the largest healthcare exhibition in the Middle East and the second largest in the world. The UK-based company will be in the Dubai International Exhibition Centre all week, demonstrating its Medway Sigma hospital information systems, clinical dashboards, healthcare portals, clinical applications for maternity and diabetes, and RFID tracking. Former health minister Lord Darzi, a keynote speaker at the conference, was due to attend in his role as a UK business ambassador promoting excellence in British healthcare manufacturing, services, technology and innovation. System C is attending the exhibition as a representative of One Health Alliance. The eight member companies include Ardentia, Centrom Group, Clinical Solutions, Lawson Software, Perceptive Software, Perot Systems, Sun Microsystems and System C. System C’s Medway Proxima PAS goes live in Bath 26 May 2010 System C's Medway Proxima PAS has gone live at the new Circle Health hospital in Bath. CircleBath opened its doors in March this year with the aim of significantly improving clinical outcomes, patient experience and value in healthcare by bringing together the best in service, architectural design and clinical practice. The hospital offers care covering 28 specialities to a mix of private and NHS patients, delivered from acclaimed new facilities designed by Foster + Partners. CircleBath is using the Medway Proxima system to manage the full patient pathway from patient registration, through the referral and booking processes, to session management and discharge. The software has been specifically adapted to deal with the mix of private and NHS patients. It is Choose and Book compliant, allowing GPs to book their patients directly in to the hospital for treatment. It also allows activities to be recorded according to how they are being funded - including self-funding by private patients, health insurance and the NHS. Circle is Europe's largest partnership of healthcare professionals with 6 facilities across the UK and plans for another 20. Phil Sinclair, PAS Project Manager at CircleBath, said the System C implementation team had been both flexible and helpful, successfully delivering a reliable and fully functional PAS. "Their experienced team was responsive and adapted to the changes we needed to make as the project progressed, particularly in the area of interoperability and functionality designed to support the management of privately funded patients", he said. Mr Sinclair added: "Local users at CircleBath, including a number of medical secretaries who have not previously used a PAS system, find Medway Proxima a user friendly and intuitive application. The use of structured pathways allows us to provide accurate reporting internally and externally." Circle Health has highlighted three key features of the new hospital in Bath: its ground-breaking design by the world-leading architects Foster + Partners; the fact that it is owned by its clinical and other staff; and its pledge to do away with unnecessary red tape by 'making CircleBath one of the most technologically advanced hospitals in the UK.' Dr Ian Denley, chief executive of System C, commented: "The PAS is a critical tool in the safe, efficient and effective delivery of healthcare to patients. "Putting one in is a big responsibility for an IT supplier, and we are delighted to have another smooth and successful Medway deployment under our belts". He added: "It was a pleasure to work with such a forward-thinking, energetic company and alongside staff with such a positive, can-do attitude".
