Couldn't get a quote to buy on HL from 4.20 onwards will try again Monday morning
I'm the same as you Jim. Flicking the lot between this and another (won't name it, not a fan of cross-ramping), but it's a tactic working well for me so far this week.
Not hitting the dizzy profits some here have done, but I'm doing well enough with it.
Having fun along the way though. What a bloody ride this week has been.
Nice read Eagle - makes me sound as if i know what i am doing!!
as i said earlier, we won't dwell on the losses elsewhere this week from my poor decisions
overall in profit though so no complaints
Well done Jim. There's no right of wrong answers in this game but best to take your original stake then you have a free float and nothing to lose. Should practice what I preach though I'm all in for max profit.
Thanks Jimmy - i can see why everyone (well most) are a good bunch on this forum. its been a very good week for you!!
have a good weekend all!
Best of luck Jim, would love for everyone to see this "blow the bloody doors off"
you are right. not quite 6k but close enough.
i have however bought back in - FOMO kicked in so in hindsight should not have done that last sell. oh well
the first hour of monday will be scary
Jim is not complaining as he has made £6k in 3 trades. Always take profit when its presented...
Positive news & this would be 1p
News tonight and we could open 30% up gla
0.4 by 9am Monday?
Going to have some more off the day traders as they close out in the next 5 mins
News could fall after hours today gap up on Monday don’t miss out
Jim this is going only one way mate.
just deciding if i jump back in....
Get a bottle of champagne and put some back in.
jimmy riddle - you may be right. looks like i will need it!!
good luck getting back in.
Steve - I will try to get back in today. and my last trade may have been better leaving it in.
Global - i have not stuck with the same money in. I sold Cine mid morning and used some of that to top up my last trade today, so I made the same profit but with a lower rise. £2k is rounded, as the detail is not important.
anyway. for once it has worked out well for me. I won't tell you the cine / SAR / SNG trades that have caught me out. These three plus Supply are my current portfolio and I bounce between them. SAR and SNG have been flat today. Cine down a bit, hence concentrating on this.
I am happy to admit I am gambling a bit but I have learnt quite a bit reading / watching and following things of late.
Anyway - I am now of the opinion this share should be a keeper and i would like to get back in today.
Final round. Before close. Strong opening Monday morning
Can't buy any it could even significantly jump going into close
Well done Jim but don't complain if there's loads of media coverage over the weekend and it opens significantly up on Monday. Hardest thing to do in this game is sit on your hands
Thats when Jim goes quiet as he'll get rumbled with fake trades and the averages supposedly made £2k profit per trade and 3 achieved today when the price fluctuated a bit
if you think it is hard to work out whether this is a buy or sell, you are inr the wrong game.
