Understand totally same situation here...but different diagnosis...Emphysema and other mental conditions for my wife....still cracking n...BUT it hurts me not being beside her...I have a good Philippine maid though that is nursing her.

Unfortunately can’t get away from my wife. I know that sounds bad but she has a terminal brain disease and it more or less ties me to her side. Hence all the time in the world with an i pad and and the time to mail Sirius with suggestions to create money for us rather than the City. I’m in too deep to worry about throwing more money in. That and the fact that that I don’t like to think the likes of JPM have had me over.
Ok..I have friends in Hull...and Cottingham....went to Bishop Burton Agricultural College 83 when 23 years old and was seconded to one of the farmers near Whitby for my duration...so hence my investment in SM......If i see them are you up for a pint...I'm nearly 60 so Single Malt after 3 pints.

South Yorkshire.... well within reach of Scarborough.:-)
Bellars..understood..I'm offshore only heard the news too late...if I come to London to get Indian visa..are you local?

Helium 1. I’m nothing short of persistent. I’ll keep at it. Nothing else to do all day except care for my wife and sit with an i pad. Bonus of being old. At the end of it all I’m in it for my kids and grandchildren. My idea was for it to create generational wealth for my family. I’ll dig in and crack on.
I hate the media 99% of the time but ..using that 1% can be an option..if your like me I don't trust them one iota ..but drastic times calls for one to pocket te pride ...look at the outfit causing Hong Kong at week ends so much trouble....

Me too. It’s harder than you think to contact someone. In my old role I sat next to the chief execs pa. I couldn’t get a message to him and I know her. There seems to be a S##t filter placed between the people in the know and us. I too would love to stuff the city and make this a UK success but without getting the message across we are stuffed.
Hi Bellars....if that's the case use the media as an option?...I've had better response from London in the past. I'm not as wealthy as most on here but stand a paper loss at today's price of 100k GBP...I feel for all... I will never give up despite the financial hardship and to be honest my own fault for putting that amount in to start with...BUT I would love to get back at the city and their smugness (JPM)

In my mail I gave them the idea of the bonds for a £400 million shareholder assist at an excellent rate of interest. I should print it off and send it recorded to CF because I got the feeling I got the corporate b****x reply. Ffs I’ll drive to Scarborough with a cheque ( or a pile of them) if that’s what it takes.
Hi Xataxx
You would be right but we would be left with a very small amount of the company and no control over how long and what happens with the business but yes we would be able to finish the project and make some money, but would it be enough to turn a profit long term for the Pi????? Over 10yrs yes most likely but it would most likely be close to break even imo
Is 400k enough to de-risk the project far enough to entice investors into a bond issue?
I believe strategic partner would be a better choice as it would give more stability to the project and open more doors to get funds if required in the future. I am very hopeful that another partner might come aboard. This project will be successful but with delays. This is not to big to fail but with very large potential because companies that have failed in the past have either been in loads of debt without further potential or failed to find potential. In the case of Sirius the potential is under the ground its matter of time and resources to get to it. We will get there I know its painful for all of us to see paper loss but all is not lost and thing will get better. GLA. my sympathies for who have lost here.
I mean best option in regards to the 2 options i suggested, as i dont think government backing is going to happen
The best option is government backing, this would square us back to where we were if not better at no loss to PI and II.
Otherwise a rights issue coz if we have a strategic investor we will most likely be left with a small % of the company and no control. Instigate buy backs when it's coming in, lots of companies do have gabillions of shares so it's always a maybe
If we do have a investor what would be nice would be if the company agreed to give all profits to share holders and sell at max production again giving it all back, that's just wishful thinking, most likely they would take the money and try to diversify into a another project.
What's 20% of 20billion tons a yr in money terms 200 mill after costs ? Maybe if we were lucky we would get a pe of 5 making us worth a bill, long wait for maybe tho ((((
Funky
Lets say that if we get funded through 2 possibilities,
1. A strategic Partner
2. Rights Issue
Which would negatively affect us more?
