I refer to the people Spreading hatred and blame and even bully boy tactics just like school.
I disagree. The water testing-contamination is not solely aimed at Covid. At the moment yes; buzz word on the street is COVID ! Give GB some credit Deb. Do you honestly think he would purchase a £20 million pound company on a whim ?
Businesses try things, they fail. They learn and move on, like us all. Yes, it's costs money to learn ! Learning helps you grow.
My point being.; you all seem focused on just that particular aspect of the business - "if that fails, the whole business is doomed !" You all seem to have dismissed all the other strings ! Yes, I'd love to see the Covid play come off, hats-off to GB for trying, if it doesn't, who cares !
Concentrating on waste water testing should be paramount, we’ve been told that the company only need to make minor modifications to Modern waters 3000 testing units for real time testing.
Covid-19 is not going to disappear any time soon,
In the last century there were three influenza pandemics that occured – the Spanish Influenza, Asian Influenza and Hong Kong Influenza. Spanish influenza, which probably originated in France, killed up to 100 million people – more than both World Wars combined!
The current conventional flu vaccine and its potential to protect people and save lives is constantly being developed, and work is far from complete. The effectiveness of the vaccine varies enormously each year, from just 3% up to 70%.
999,079 World wide deaths in 9 months from Covid-19.
Matty
See what you said here....... Who cares if the covid play doesn't pan out, the company has SO much more to offer.
Of course that matters because as a business the time, effort and money pumped into this has to be recouped somewhere so will have an adverse effect on everything
Nor me !
TH - If you are invested, you need to take responsibility for your own investment(s). If you purchased higher than today's SP and you're in the red, then you're maybe feeling frustrated and have a need to rant ! But logically, you're not doing yourself any favours by dissing the company. It may make you feel better, but if you've got money in here, do you really want the SP to drop further ?
If you've lost faith, simply sell up, learn from a bad decision and move on !
Everything aside, I wish you well for your investment(s).
th - so you're invested but have been warning for months and hyper-critical of CEO. doesn't stack up to me. ..
You didn't answer the question; are you invested or not ?
Matty, I think you need a reality check, I`ve been saying for months
this stock is over hyped, and I`ve also questioned the need for its
CEO to constantly ramp it on here and twitter, the market obviously
agrees with me, or were you asleep on thursday. And yes I`ve still got
a few, and yes I have done my DD. the CEO and company have lost
massive amounts of credibility, can they regain it, only with signed
contracts, and with the CEO beginning to act like a responsible business
man.
Vaccine is months if not longer away. Even when one is available it will be years before mass vaccinations can be achieved and then repeated again. Bbc Andrew Marr show today expert saying need testing on mass. Skin will deliver exactly that.
TH - Have you actually done ANY research on SKIN (DV) ? You're posts are frustrating to read mate. Are you actually invested ? If so, you're doing yourself (and us) a disservice, by keep putting the company down. I understand investors have questions-concerns, by you come across very negative buddy. I was invested prior to any mention of COVID. Who cares if the covid play doesn't pan out, the company has SO much more to offer.
A vaccine is highly unlikely to be readily available before next summer and most vaccines have circa 60% effectiveness and given say 50% will take it as it’s been rushed through testing will be needed for a long time.
Health care workers don’t die from the flu, flu doesn’t leave people breathless for months after and badly damage other organs. Therapies will also be very important. Both solutions (I think we should concentrate on wastewater) will be required long after Covid and can be used to detect other pathogens etc.
Deb, if covit goes along the same path as the last few pandemics,
in a couple of years it will be like catching flu, we don`t test for
flu, companies don`t buy expensive kit to test for it, you go to
your doctor , he gives you a jab...job done.
As for water testing, MWG has been losing money for years,
after covit whats going to change?
The problem for Skins now is getting something commercial
to market ASAP, as soon as a vaccine arrives all covit plays
are dead in the water....exept the guy that makes the vaccine
Deb....I suspect the SP will still take a few days to settle down as the less committed ‘bite the bullet’ and sell , but I see that as a positive moving forward as your ‘ceiling’ will start to crystallise into glass and it will only take a few good news stories from the Company to see momentum return here. In 6 months time this could all look quite different.....GL.
Not surprising that the swarm of “Covid Stock “ day traders settled here for a few days and left immediately once realising the crop was far from ready. Indeed it will require a huge effort by GB and his team to capitalise on Covid but in any event that is likely / hopefully to be a short lived event . The Microtox BT clearly has a much wider application and it does not need to be rushed as in any event a funding JV will likely be required to see this get to Market. In the meantime the Company’s existing technologies are generating increasing revenue, which is where they need to really focus. Unfortunately that won’t see the SP breach last weeks high any day soon, but for LTH’s that shouldn’t be of much concern .
Thinking the Exteme fall in price being a accumulation akin to a perfect storm kickstarted with a major shareholder, the Helium Rising Stars Fund, selling nearly 6%. Helium only invest to £50m mcap, at 61p/64p where they sold SKIN & MWG had a combined mcap of >£100m
factor in this selling off was also timed during the live streamed online presentation which I’m sure a fair few investors did not see so almost in the dark with the fund selling dropping the price created panic and a snowball effect then add to the mix derampers trolls who magically turn up saying presentation a disaster? and the snowball turns to a avalanche.
Shame there is a lot of dubious disingenuous posters on these types of boards armed with I suspect hidden agendas.
Realise the focus across these boards last few days has been on the newly presented real time covid19 detection breathalyser but by reactions you’d be almost fooled to believe this is what the company is solely about and thus make or break for them. Clearly not.
Putting the amazing tech and huge potential of modern water, rinocloud and labskin aside
To me the microtox bt is a novel and ingenious bit of kit, which I assume can be or has the potential to be used to not only detect covid19 but a assortment of viruses, illnesses, diseases?? If that’s the case fantastic imagine going to your hospital consultant, local gp for testing instead of invasive swabs waiting days for results, breathing in to this device 30/60 seconds later, diagnosed! Boom! happy.
Credit where credit due Fantastic work from the team on all fronts, this breathalyser clearly shows the ingenuity of the team. they are clearly passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic which is amazing.
Side note- Having read up a little more on labskin, remarkable, if this potentially reduces, eradicates!!! testing on animals, all involved with it’s development deserve knighthoods.
This is exactly the type of thing we can help with;

Robbie Savage and Chris Sutton have been on 5live this evening discussing the importance of getting fans back into football grounds, especially at the lower level. Sports clubs are the heartbeat of a lot of communities. Our new bit of kit would be perfect for allowing this to happen. If anyone is on twitter and fancied giving them a heads up I’m sure they would be interested in hearing about it.
Personal view is the BT will be a collabaration with partners who will take a slice for their inputs. Whether or not this requires an additional fund raise/ placing we will need to wait and see. GB has indicated this is not required as they have sufficient funding in place currently. Not sure I share the view re business acumen as they have been quite innovative in generating revenues in other areas of the business. No doubt we will get clarity in the coming weeks/months.
Serendipity- this is probably the most sensible and insightful posts that we have had.
What were your names before you became serendipity
!
Neal - what a foolish comment, no one is crying. There are a number of posters who are trying to have a rationale and sensible conversation. If you have nothing constructive to say, perhaps better to say nothing?
Edited to add:
Reading GB tweets Dell will provide “data services” whatever that means. This company needs funding, logistics and marketing.
He really should less time on Twitter ramping his company and more talking to business analysts to figure out how the company markets its products and gets to mass production of detection and scanners ASAP, and has some big orders to announce
