As I mentioned last night, I will withdraw and that should put an end to it. However, for the benefit of those who avoid it, I just want to copy across this post from David Evans on ADVFN this morning:-

For avoidance of doubt I have not sold any shares in SCLP as suggested by Inan - the idea that I was pumping and dumping is without foundation. I will let you know when I do sell but I am currently not a seller. My intentions will be driven by personal circumstances more than anything to do with SCLP per se.'
Couldn’t agree more Chester.
That is a real shame Chester. I hardly ever post but look to the board for ideas and assistance with the complex science and the direction Scancell are going.
The board is a mixed bag so I tend to pick out posts from individuals that present thoughtful, well intended and informative information. Yours fall into that category, if you choose to withdraw, either short or long term, then the less informed investor like myself will be poorer for it.
LOL
””Bermuda .... i don't have investor Fatigue ””
Perhaps not, but you do have a complete breakdown of common decency.
As Bermuda says, you are not helping Scancell or its investors which includes YOU.
Bermuda .... i don't have investor Fatigue
like Ruck said it was David Evans that suggested it ..........
not me ...
Its your mate Ruck that keeps his grubby fingers in the pie ..
Bermuda your post the other day
""""Yep we have discussed this before and agreed to differ I think. """
Just to explain a little further - it's not a question of making excuses, denying the issues or blindly defending the BOD. It's more about trying to understand so we can judge the investment proposition from as informed a position as possible.
I know I keep saying this but if you simply blame the current CEO for all ills, then logic dictates that all you have to do is replace him/her and the deals will flood in. It also means that you run the risk of overlooking other factors.
Good to get and discuss different views.
"""you last line is amusing under the circumstances""
i will leave you show boating .. your prowess with the written word ...
"issue" and "who Knows"
and clearly Ruck is hooked on "Investor Fatigue"
Chester - No need - I shall withdraw.
Inanaco - I have often defended the board of Scancell, past and present. It's all in my posting history. You on the other hand have chosen to cast doubt over the integrity of Scancell's ex-chairman and raise the prospect that he is offloading stock. Not helpful at all to Scancell.
Bermuda
You sat on the adfvn BB day after day while they rip the BOD directors apart Tosh and Co etc .. for 4 years
and you say nothing ....
you really are Show Boating ...
My attempts to actually talk about the companys science has yet again ended with trash talking and seeing who can **** who off the best.
I think I will withdraw from this board as I said I would because there is not much to interest anyone who looked in to see what Scancell might be about.
It's getting worse.
No I absolutely don't have all the answers but I would never, ever question any poster's integrity on a public forum without any evidence - let alone the ex-chairman of a company I happen to be invested in.
David Evans is a well known figure in the biotech. world, especially on the finance side and you might want to leave it there as you're skating on pretty thin ice.
Bermuda,
It's not often I have cause to disagree with you but I have to take issue on one of your comments:
"""honestly Inanaco, you're better than that."""
No he's not!
who-knows. Phrase. ? A rhetorical question asked to show that the person asking it neither knows the answer nor knows who might. It could be one or the other, or both.
but who knows ...
Bermuda has all the answer's
just for the record ... Bermuda here is the post ....
13 Jun 2019 -
Fwiw - I managed to pick up 1m shares at just below my limit price of 7p.
then suggest fatigue by December ...
or is that an attempt to flip by proposing Scancell is vulnerable to a take over above 22p ...
who knows ...
what does "who Knows mean"
can you help ?
so your offering an alternative suggestion .. which is good
but only your suggestion can be the right one ... ??
ATB
Inanaco,
Yes I do have an alternative - he was simply posting his opinion.
You also missed some fairly important information from your 'event log'. David Evans has invested over £400,000 in Scancell stock, that figure excludes the latest buy which takes it up to nearly half a million. He has participated in funding rounds even after his departure.. He clearly stated on ADVFN that he was looking to average down with the 1m buy but you seem to have missed that post in your event log.
You question whether he may have posted to facilitate flipping his shares simply because he bought 1m shares at 7p. I'm all for discussing alternative views - about Scancell. But you have questioned the integrity of Scancell's ex-chairman.
"over my dead body ... IMHO is an Issue ...
Bermuda can you explain why its not an issue ...
"Issue" is associated with difficult decisions and disagreements. We use "issue" in a similar way to "problem" or "trouble", but it also has another meaning. It can mean a topic that people are talking about or disagreeing on
is this yet again .......... Nit picking .. show boating ?
interested
Bermuda you missed the point ...
1/ alternative views ...
my comments an "event log" with a reasoning ...
"""honestly Inanaco, you're better than that."""
do you have an alternative idea ? based on that event log ie "based on posts over time" put forward ?
----------------------------------------
ref "over my dead body" ....
is a bit strong ....
but that does not match with the AGM events ... ie Tax reasons
Inanaco,
Thanks for the reply.
The primary role of a Chairman is to advise and guide on strategy and inevitably there will be occasions when the Chairman and CEO have differing opinions . That can be entirely healthy though and the fact that DE had a different view of the way forward for Moditope doesn't mean he had 'issues' with Richard Goodfellow. I had always understood that DE and RG had an excellent working relationship and that DE was/is fully supportive of RG.
As for questioning whether David Evans was posting on ADVFN in an attempt to flip his shares.......................honestly Inanaco, you're better than that.
I think DE was probably looking out for us private investors. It would have been relatively easy to “spin off” a separate company without any proper reimbursement for shareholders in Scancell. Can you imagine where we would be now with just SCIB1 and SCIB2.
Talk on this board of share swaps are totally meaningless and irrelevant. A spin off company with director share issue and a private placing would possibly have left us with next to nothing.
Only my speculation. If DE wants to correct me and call my post “erroneous” I’ll gladly take it!
We examined all the alternatives including the death-spiral funding outfits.it was at that time spinning off Moditope was considered and I told RG "over my dead body".
18th july NXC
by the way accuracy i was at the 2012 and 2013 AGM ... the company accountant pointed out that the tax implications would have been horrendous and that's why they did not consider the split as advised at AGM to the audience . remember the 2 for 1 share discussions prior on here ? before they ruled it out
You said in your 14.56 that David Evans had issues with Richard Goodfellow - can you elaborate?
