Thanks
Another message to HL:
CGH/CGO
Why have my last two messages been ignored?
I have sent two messages, recently that have remained unanswered!
I made one telephone enquiry yesterday, and was told “we will get back to you via secure messages “ I’m still waiting!
HL’s handling of this CGH/CGO “in specie dividends” has been a shambles! Shareholders due this dividend have had to chase HL every step of the way, to get our rightful shares. Even when they have been allocated to our accounts, we are unable to trade them! With a tag against the stock, in our shares and funds account stating “ unable to trade as this company is unlisted” which is nonsense, as CGO are available to trade on HL’s website!
Why put that tag on?
Hopefully someone might give me the courtesy of a reply, and explain this situation!
Regards.
to H&L asking for more information and an update on when I can trade the shares showing in my fund and share account.
All of these messages should not have been required, if they'd just put something in the fund and share account, even if it was 1 share, with a corporate actions note explaining the process/progress, instead of just a line with my share allocation, then nil value, and zero informational text... poor
You can just sell your certificate if you want to. There are companies online who will do that option there's a fee though .
ok thanks. patience required then. more patience...
It is not come through on ii. The flag is regarding the initial corporate action. There has been no further updates in ii.
HI Charlie, I am not seeing that in my ii account, where did you find it?
Finally got my share certificate through the post but now will have to complete a CREST transfer form and send it off to HL.
Thanks for getting back to me CBB, I guess any return is better than what I’ve had for the last god knows how many years
Eddie,
See CBB’ posting at 00:13 this morning, that should help you understand the situation.
Good luck.
Dear colleagues,
ask:
did you have to register the shares you own somewhere or is the conversion done automatically?
Thank you very much for the answer!
Sincerely,
Eddie
Notification now on ii if you click on and open your holding.
Very nice to see that there is some good news flow due which should accelerate and strengthen the SP of our CGO shares
RG , luckily for me I will over 100% in profits , not a big sum , but better in my back pocket , so fairly pleased
Hi CBB,
I have a screenshot of “significant shareholders” taken from the old website, before it was changed. But unfortunately don’t have anything that would swiftly show “assets/projects”.
I suppose the only way to get some idea, would be to trawl through all 5 pages of the RNS,s.
And of course things will have changed throughout the near seven years of “radio silence”. So what’s left in the pot, looks like ending up in the Grove’s pot.
Rg , mine are now in my HL Fund and Share account - this stock currently does not have a stock market listing , getting there slowly
or were there other smaller/less valuable assets?
SBLM became CGH shortly after de-listing, they are NOT about to be relisted, quite the opposite, they are about to be dissolved and wound up, but before they do, the major holding that is worth anything is their holding in CGO (interesting nothing else has been mentioned about any other holdings!) needs to be distributed to shareholders, you should receive 0.072 CGO share portion for each CGH share you own, so your entitlement should be 422000*0.072 = 30384, which at the current BID price for CGO (6.5p) would equal about £1,974.96.
If you have a certificate for your CGH or SBLM shares, you should receive notification form the Registars with a new certificate to follow, if you hold your shares like manuy of us with a broker, then they should be getting the shares and should then allocate them to you
Hi all,
Please help, I’m currently on holiday in the states.
I bought shares in SBLM several years a go, once they were delisted I decided to give up and forget about them, I thought I’d check on the off chance whilst I waited for the wife to get ready to go out for a meal (about an hour!!)
I have 422k shares, are they about to be re listed? What could mine be worth?
Thanks
GLA
I called the trade desk, and spoke to a guy called Alister, he had a discussion with “the back room “ but still couldn’t give me an answer. Said they had just recently received the certificates, but couldn’t tell me why I couldn’t sell them. Said he/ they would get to me via secure messages.
I asked him why they were showing as unlisted, as I had tried a dummy buy, in my ISA, and could get a buy quote.
yeah they are showing as nill value till the deal is done and everything is through, a bit like placings shares or open offers or similar sit in your account at nil value till you have them and can trade them
Where’s MB?
Come on MB, waken up, your missing all the fun. ;-))
I’m £5k+ better off this afternoon, than I was this morning. Still £3k+ down, but bejesus it’s been a very long wait.
GLA
Fc1865,
If Lloyds are as bad as HL, it’ll be next week before you get to know, lol.
Only joking :-)))
HL have still got CGO as an unlisted company, on my account, but search for a price, on their OWN website, Lo and behold , up pops buy & sell details.
You couldn’t make it up.
Don’t worry it’s all coming good.
Nothing showing in my Lloyds account yet :(
Fired off a secure message to HL:
Despite not receiving any response to my last message, shareholders of CGH have now received their “in specie dividend in CGO”
But the shares are showing a “nil value” beside that new entry there is an “i “ which when clicked shows “ This stock does not currently have a stock market listing.”
How on earth is this message being applied to an existing company on the LSE??
This whole issue has been a complete disaster. And I’m seriously considering other companies to do my dealings with.
Please get this sorted.
Nice one CBB.
My account showing them, has an “i” next to it, click on it and it states ” This stock does not currently have a stock market listing.”
Like you said earlier, I’m beginning to lose faith in the competency of HL.
