Some see all future profits used on expensive debt, leases and the new ceo remuneration, bit of an obstacle to future returns for pi's. Time will tell .
Interesting results with a lot of positives. Good increases turnover and profits in growth sectors. The write off re leisure values, hopefully no further write offs for next few years although suspect more rationalisation costs. Do not think all will close as some will be conversions. Interesting talk re anticipated lease cost reductions, we will see how successful that is! They seem to have a very focused strategy and profits should increase as a consequence. Looking good to me and when the furore re corona virus subsides hopefully SP will rise but cannot see it breaking 170 until divi reinstated we will see. GLA
Some see 90 sites being closed down the majority held on long lease at above market t rents .Will require some very hefty reverse premiums to get shot
Some see opportunities where others see obstacles.
The BOD are addressing the problems with the empty outdated brands and pushing the current popular Wagamama.
I see this a great opportunity going fwd on wagas results alone.
In time this is a 1bil mkt cap, with the reduction of loss making outlets the numbers back this up.
Im not a trader so I’m holding
Not as bad as I expected. Made a small dent on debt and hope to bring it down further this year which looks a tall order this year but who knows. The strategy doesnt look any different than previously just going to be a while to deliver especially withe the current world health issue
The results are poor - profit all used up on debt and low growth . sp will fall today imv.bod has wrecked this company.
No divi and sales of a 1billion .. this is now a growth stock.
I like it
Results tomorrow? Hopefuly good!
No response from that email. Pretty poor investor relations
I’ll follow it up with a phone call on Monday
Thanks for that
