also have this as a confirmed buy and the charts would suggest a very bullish advance about to start. Looking forward to the coming days and weeks in here.

Like the look of this share, anybody have any thoughts between now and xmas ? I have a bullish view on this but would like to hear any counter arguments if any are fourth coming. The charts look very favourably on this and volumes have increased a lot recently. The charts have formed a bull penant which would indicate an upward trend and british bulls will tonight post a buy confirmed.
For those still in, or following on ASX. http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601081&sid=a4_1BjsKHCG0

Hi mate I must admit I am fairly new to oil but have done my research on these.Dont ask me about the technicals of exploration and production but I am lead to beleive that these are 4-6 month investment hopefully returning 3-4 times current sp.Its all dependant in my opinion on rising oil prices as ROC are already in production a rise of $10-$15 a barrell will see a nice return.Whether the rumoured tie up with the Chinese comes to anything remains to be seen. For the time being sp looks like it will stay in the 30s if nothing significant happens by Mid Oct I may have to re-evaluate my current position.GL and DYOR.
Just as general interest also as original rumour of Chinese Oil company interest in ROC Oil.Maybe some of that money may be coming ROCs way just a thought.

investors Chronicle have these as a buy tip anything below 56p Sept 2008.Recent development activity supports improved production, earnings and cash flow which should benefit further from strengthening oil prices.
There is a new presentation on the ROC OIL website today called " Good Oil Conference Presentation September 2009". Worth a look. Perhaps one of you guys who is technically minded could comment and enlighten those of us who are new to the oil sector.
I have to admit that I went for VOG in the end, over my VOG/ROC dilemma! may still get involved with ROC in the future and could well be proven wrong, but I just felt that VOG represented a more immediate opportunity at the present time, although that said I have no real hard facts to back that statement up and feel both have good potential! Guess I was drawn to the 6p SP price of VOG at the time over the 37p of ROC, but that isnt very scientific is it!! lol!! GLA!
got in at the right time i hope just have to sit back and wait
I have been on ROC website and they are a very active company already in oil production. They are also exploring and have wells in appraisal.I personally think its a matter of oil prices picking up and it will be a matter of take your pick but you may miss boat as sps could move very quickly, just look at GKP.
Thanks for your info! the chap I speak to seems overly friendly to me and he always phones on a withheld number and keeps saying that he will send me various emails of information.......these never arrive!! My understanding is that you purchase the shares through them some how and then they take 5% of the NET profit made, so if you buy for £2,000 and sell at £5,000 then they take 5% of the £3,000 increase as their commission. To be honest, the overall saving on the few pence they give you off the SP purchase price and the 5% end commission, is not enough of an advantage to go through such a company and whilst I value their information, they have not backed this up with any written reports or anything of substance, so I will be doing similar to yourself and just keeping a keen eye on all of these oil stocks and will decide myself when it is time to take the plunge. Definitely looking good though for ROC, it is just a shame that there is not a bit more activity on this section of the forum giving further views and ideas as I generally value other people's a lot, being a bit of a newbie at this share dealing lark.
I have also been phoned by a guy from Mitschka Advisory. Very friendly chap who called 3 or 4 times during which time he spoke of them being for Corporate clients but now expanding into Private Clients. Spoke of great opportunities due to research capabilities. Also some well known investment expert who they had paid to come and talk to them - unable to disclose info but exciting prospect. During conversations I indicated I thought I was too small time but in final conversation about 2 weeks ago he revealed the company was ROC reckoned to be the most undervalued oil company with great potential due to imminent agreement with China National Oil Company,ROC's cash position and oil prices set to rocket into next year. Spoke of big buy (which I took to be all Corporate And Private Clients' funds) about to happen - did I want to invest. I declined. Next day there was a bigger than usual buy but no reaction to share price and it has stayed very boring since then. This guy phones from Vienna where they are based. They have an address and phone no. in London. I don't know what's in it for them but I just don't do investment that way. They have a website" www.mitschka-advisory.com " . I will follow ROC with interest. I see no reason why ROC price would not increase if oil price soars. DYOR
It does sound a decent opportunity, but I am never keen on these companies that just keep on hounding you to buy their shares and I would much prefer to just hear about a tip and then just do my own research! I agree with what you are saying regards oil prices and I guess now it is just a case of picking which oil company is the best one to invest in! I am already in AST which did well at the beginning of the week......not looked at them today, but also feel either ROC or VOG could be worth a go and if what they say is true about ROC, then sounds exciting indeed! Wont be buying through Mitschka though and with this mornings drop, would be better off just buying through my Barclays account in any case! Thanks for your thoughts!!! any others?? ;-)
I to have had Mitschka trying to sell me ROC stock. Ithink there is something in the CNOC tie up as a leak was reported 3-4 weeks ago ROC have denied this but Mitschka are adament that it is going to happen. I am watching these closely and i was readind a report last night about the future of oil. Experts are convinced that oil prices are going to rocket come Christmas and beyond.Oil exploration and production is in the doldrums at the moment with exploration temp abandoned,Rigs closed down amd mass job losses this is all down to the low oil price. If oil does rocket which I think it will then oil production will go into overdrive and companies who are already in place and producing will benefit the most.DYOR.
Hi All I have recently been hounded by a chap from Mitschka Advisory who has been priming me for weeks about this huge opportunity that was on the horizon and he has today announced that the company is ROC. I had already been keeping my eye on ROC in anycase, as I feel it has potential, however he reckons that they are shortly to become involved in China National Offshore Company (CEO) and that the exit strategy that I should be working towards, is purchasing today (they have a slightly reduced price due to large corporate deal) and exiting in 12 months time, where they reckon at worse this share will be £1.20 and at best £5.00. Has anyone ever heard of Mitschka Advisory for starters and does anyone think there is anything in any of the above? I had originally been interested in ROC (and invested in AST last week) as I feel the price of oil is set to double over the next year or so, but on the back of what mitschka advisory have told me, it could all be a hell of a lot bigger than I had originally thought! What do you think?? Thanks
To get this baby moving, get that drill bit going ?
13th Aug the successful completion of its fully paid up SPP (share purchase plan) Total funds of $26 million were raised. This will allow reduction in debt and continuation of development well beyond 2009.
I here you just bought in on these lets get this BB moving.Told that these could go big in the next 4-6 months.Company is actively exploring, testing and producing the proposed tie up with the Chinese could be the push it needs.
Strong Buy - its going to go up but long term may be by November 2009 will hit at least 100 per cent
