Royal. Thank you for the clarification on your reasoning .
Should be a good day tomorrow.
Scampthedog I thought these new hubs were primarily for the new parcel services and part of the 5 year plan so unclear why RMG would be desperate to have them operational before the pressure period starts this year. Of course if they get them up and running sometime soon that would be a bonus.
No insider info scamp. Last half year they had £101m back pay to pay out, £213 cost for purchase of Dicom, £64m one off pension insurance and £68m impairment. Negative productivity which is now running between 2 and 3%. Issues in North America are being sorted. Profit margins in Europe have increased along with revenue. GSL revenue will eventually be greater than UK. A 9% access operators mail price increase and other prices increasing by between 3 and 5%. I have read that Moya capitulated because she was off and didn't care but she got an agreement on the pension which was a massive saving. If you compare pension costs now to 2017 with 2018 you will see.
After conceding that the new hubs will most likely not be fully operational until the end of October RoyAIMail (obviously RMG desperately needs them fully operational before the official period of "Pressure" starts) why would you make the bold statement that this years November figures will be much better than previous? Is this based on facts that you are privy to due to your job (working for Royal mail I assume?) or a hunch perhaps? Or is it something that you are hearing from a friend or acquaintance who themselves, or someone they might know, work for the Royal Mail? You do seem to be so very certain of yourself.
