Keesey. ...so cheesy :-) You open an account in 2009 and keep it unused for 6 years, but use your first post yo voice concerns about qpp? Now....Where's that cheese grater gone...?
But Rocal: some naive posters may think these deliberately stupid questions and doubts are genuine. Especially from so many new accounts lol.
Excellent, well - reasoned first post. Thanks for your insight.
I'm saying it may well be rather less.
Thanks prolly pundit We thought price would drop too like an ex divd...so your saying it will still be around 90p So no loss no gain overall
1000 will be 100 @ 9p on the Monday = £9 No - because the shares will be reduced to 1 for 10 they will increase in value by about 10x - so 100 x 90p = £90 but it will probably be a little less than this due to uncertainty and possibly manipulation

Dear AEMarsh...I was told that when the 18th Dec comes the EX entitlement to 90p per share is like a ex divd meaning the share price will drop by 90p to 9p...then after a 1 for 10 you will have a tenth of the holding at 9p Some thought we would all get 90p per share as a gratia payment but now they are consolidating the same time that's not good news is it?? Please confirm if you have 1000 shares at 98p that's £980 if sold today...now won't you get 90p x 1000 = £900 then your 1000 will be 100 @ 9p on the Monday = £9 I don't use BB but wanted to high light a concern yeah Regards

I know that most of you will be thrilled to bits to hear that this issue has kept me off this board for days, but I'm a little interested to know....Why on earth are some of you guys who (even in my opinion) know a hell of a lot about QPP, people like A_E_M, GZPLA, GrumpyScouser et al even bothering to reply to some of these utterly crackpot questions about the share-price consolidation? Why? Some of these people must be, even by my woeful standards,. complete mathematical muppets judging by the barmy questions they are asking. Anyone who has held a couple of shares in any company (especially an AIMS company) for more than a year or two must surely be aware of what consolidations, splits and reverse splits are all about. Surely these folks are just out to waste your time. At least all I want to do is provoke argument and discussion (OK, occasionally, as an unwanted by-product, anger) but some of these folks shouldn't even have a cheque-book, let alone a shares-portfolio. Your answers aren't ever going to penetrate their head-bone; you'd need that Ground-Penetrating Radar which "Time Team" use to do that.
With all this ifs and buts with consolidation, cash payments to share holders 1 share for 10 wher will we be this time next year it u hold your shares here better or worse off, yes I know who can answer that one but I think I will be woes off but somewhere between here and next November will we spike and then maybe able to take prophits if it spikes enough lol there are lots of options to consider but share holders normally are worse off
haha ok tw
polly, could you not call me tw.looks bad bad bad on the bb.thank you most kindly.

Now wouldn't THAT be a sneaky way of paying back a surprise extra wee bit?
But lighthouses are bright! Or do you mean they just keep going round and round?
morning all, just in case anyone is bored with answering the same old same old,how about a stab at this. when all is settledd, any idea how long before a dividend is paid and how much?
New Trolls moving in? ha ha some of the are like lighthouses....ha ha
Did not mean shareholders, meant those who want the share price down.
Sounds like a rayy of sunshine from Blondestreaks nether region

Thank you GS, I did not know that. It appears that Indro is exacting his plan before our eyes. When the full detail is published it maybe quite exciting. ATB GS
