I think that drop was EX divi 13p special prior to conversion, MUT shares are OK by me lower charges and reasonable DIVI I just trust conversion is all equal to NAV
Just wondering if anyone is out there- looks like the biggest rip off of the year- 2019 nav £412 which was down on previous year.
Where has the nav gone -in the last few days its dropped by 5% down to a all time low- if it was that good a deal the share price would be romping.
As far as I can see they are getting a equivalent size company and assets for zip . share price JAN 2020 £340 I rest my case.
The argument rages over many of LSE's BBs about whether Share Buybacks are in Shareholder's interests. PLI are currently buying 100,000 of their shares a couple of times per week at a discount of over 13%. Buying £1s at 87p a go - I'll have some of that, yes Sir!
Mark Barnett is supposed to be a great investment manager. Why such poor performance from this investment trust?
Would be good if there were pointers on IT's as there are for stocks in newspapers. This one has done very well, and outperformed the ftse. FTSE down 5% for 2015, and not sure to put the money as the world has lost capitalism, and we now have bankism for now and the years ahead. I have these on my watchlist to buy 2 or 3 of these and top_up MYI (PLI, CTY, MYI, AAIF, STS & BRCI). The question is; Will oil prices continue this dreaded rout and cause another global recession for 2016? What iv been thinking, maybe it couldv been better had the economies not reduced there interest rates to near 0%, thus giving us another tool to play with ( coz that's all there doing )! 2016, Might see the rise of gold to levels not seen since 2011, also we may see $1-£1 in 2016? Salmond for one would certainly have egg on his face if Scotland had become independant in 2014... Happy New Year all...
Mental how Marks funds keep on chugging away especially when they are mainly low risk investments, He is doing such a good job of the Big money high income and Income funds as well, Some commentators have been saying those funds are too big to be able to get good returns, Well Mark keep proving them wrong what do they know, They obviously don't know you like we avid investers do.
When u can have these! Wish I had put cup shred in here , EDIN and CTY! Aim stinks !
No one has posted here, just realised that fact, this fund, EDIN and the perpetual higher income fund are making me very well off indeed, thanks to Mark Barnett who runs all three, I really believe in his management style and he is doing a fantastic job with the funds he had taken over from neil woodford,I have not put any money in the CF woodford fund as I don't see the point, Mark is the new star on the block.
