What will happen to our nil paid shares come Thursday? Even tho they r pretty much worthless now Thanks
http://www.mining.com/china-coal-73395/ Bloomberg reports coal prices may advance 10% in the fourth quarter and according to Shi Yan, a Shanghai-based analyst the recovery could gain momentum: "Coal prices have started to show a recovery since the moment the government decided to step in. The recovery may accelerate going forward.” The first signs are already evident on Chinese markets with the Bohai-Rim coal index, a Chinese benchmark, rising nearly 1% to 482 yuan ($79) a tonne early, snapping an almost three-month losing streak according to Bloomberg.
The main shareholder has committed to buying all their rights. Plus, untaken new shares are backed up too, so all new shares will be subscribed and the company will raise these £150mnl that they want. Indeed, there is a huge dilution of individual shares' value, but at the same time, the company will operate on business and there is hope.
Eligible shareholders received 19 rights for 1 share, shareholders can then choose exercise 1 right to receive 1 share at EUR0.23458 (equivalent of GBP0.018418). If the share price falls further any lower, I cannot see any many shareholders risking exercising their rights and investing more money at this. I see the deadline to choose to exercise or not is around the 25/09/2014, with the new shares being paid to the market on 09/10/2014. Personally i cannot see the company raising much cash from this event. The rights trading closed on first days trading at GBP0.0023, the current price is 0.0004. Overall it dosen't look good at all.
Thats seems fair calculation ..... doesnt look so so bad now however the Question is will things continue to slide or can it recover?
correct me if im wrong, At the price of 104.75p with 265m shares, thats a MCap of £278m. £278m with the current share issued of approx. 5,265m = share price of 5p Therefore the current price of 2p, is more or less equivalent to previous price of 42p. The drop is not as significant as 104.75p to 2p...............................
main reason I guess is the 5B right issue, which is a significant dilution to the price. Probably you wont see 104.75 price again.
Something I do not understand. There were 5bln rights issue and those were admitted for trading on 10 september gone. Why is Total shares still shown as 264mln?
we'll all just have to wait and see. It could surprise us all. or go down the tubes...I'm going to hang on in there and give it as long as takes. I've written the money off now. In a year or so's time I could be sitting on a pretty penny and we could be saying 'this went down to 2p once!' Either way I wont be selling anything below 3.2p which would put me in profit
albeit painful ones ..... nwr does seem in dire straights ..... how low can this go, can it survive with new shares.....
To the best of my knowledge, I understand it was £10 a share before that!!! I understand there is going to be a rights issue.
On 20.09.2013 share price was 104.75, today it is 2.03!!!! Can the Board of Directors explain why and what they propose to do, if anything, to reassure the shareholders!!!
going to be issued at and when?
I hope so bud.
I'm not trying at all,all those new shares and the fundamentals here will do that! I'm not shorting this, only stating facts and that just because this has fallen so much, doesn't mean it won't fall further.Im pessimistic on the whole sector and a lot of other aim stocks that clearly in the real world should not be trading.
Look at the facts here, you have got to be joking this is a train wreck and that's obvious to anyone with a brain here just do the sums and yes ,Andy,I see you listened to me there on pog but then you decided to invest in something more dire based on price that's just mad.. I have here'd it all before about shorting, etc, hogwash, this is basic common sense and I challenge you muppets to argue why this is a buy?I will give you some time before replying don't worry, you will need it.
Pi's only post their views on here if they have a vested interest. Be it that they are an investor, shorter or paid to post. Otherwise why would they troll around the boards offering worldly advice when they really don't know diddly. TRV was calling the doom and gloom at POG and I was tempted to sell at 33p a few weeks back. I held on, ignored his baloney and sold when it 38p taking a tidy little profit. He was probably shorting there too and he wasn't the only one.
I think he's shorting bud. He protests too much. Im 100% with you. I too watched cpp bounce and with all the doom and gloom it was quite a shock when it happened. This will just go ping! one day and could easily double in a heartbeat.
Hello, sorry did you look at those accounts ,at what point did you think they where good, not even a Yorkshire pudding wouldn't rise here,it's a joke, please show me any different!
Only a complete madman would consider this a fair bet!i consider this as a faller at Aintree with a twelve bore to its head!

Sold out of pog but my average was 33p so I didn't do too bad. Gold is currently being hammered so glad i'm out for now. I have only taken a small punt here at 3p which may or may not come good. It could easily hit 6p or higher to be fair..based upon an rns out of the blue which wouldn't surprise me. You seem to take the view that this is all washed up, which is fair enough if that's how you see it, but I've seen enough shares like this to know that the current sp is more than worth the gamble. If she drops below 2.5p i'll grab another 100k and sit tight. I don't think it's going bust anytime soon but it seems priced to do that at the mo. I'm in Afren and GKP with a lot more wedge as Obama is protecting the oil in Kurdy and the stocks there are hideously undervalued due to politics which seems to be improving with time.
Nice link, Andy, you bought some more yet buddy?Given the losses in the 1st half of this year, how long do you think this restructuring will last?It might have been better to stop mining altogether, rather than lose over a hundred million a year. The price of coal has to be at a certain level for this to work this is one last desperate throw of the dice and you would have to be confident of a significant rise in coal prices, like right now,to buy here.ps,Andy you still in pog or did you average down and call it a day and move here!
