#NCCL This news signals very real prospects for capitalising on the coal & extracting shareholder value
All the work already done, $40m (£35m) spent, now waiting to be sold or JV’d, with the market for thermal coal flying.
A HUGE step forward for the company and for shareholders!
#NCCL RNS States
'Between 2009 and 2013, roughly US$40m was spent proving up the potential of the project...'
A potential benchmark value for coal/ coal mine work & plans ie. $40m - or £35m --- then add the 300MW Solar Project, with 5000MW+ potential!
Market Cap only £4m.
The Upside got even BIGGER!

Coal at $390 per tonne currently would make this a very attractive resource for a miner….have to agree at £4m mcap any deal here would see significant upside.
As with everything NCCL though, this is reliant on them actually getting something over the line!
RNS Stating
'This decision follows the ongoing delays in progressing the coal power Project, strong export thermal coal prices...'
Company now looking to epxloit the strong market for thermal coal. This great news!
I wonder how far along the road they are are. They've been sitting on the coal (including all that JORC work and mine plans) for a while. Sale/ JV cannot have been something they have just thought of i.e. they must have some idea of who to work with /sell to, in my opinion.
Good luck folks!
#NCCL Great news! Sale/ JV Ncondezi's coal, unlocking value wth coal in HUGE demand
'JORC coal resource [..] 4.0 billion tonnes [..] measured resource of 120 million tonnes'
$40m spent.
What value sale of/ JV on Coal worth??
Market Cap still only £4m. That is worth a strong BUY Recommendation in my view!

#NCCL Expectations building for Feasibility Study results on the 5000MW+ Grid Scale Solar Project, with company looking to ramp up PR, drawing attention to project/ prospects to wider market.
Upside from £4m Market Cap remains fully in play! Rises this time very much intended to be sustainable. 2p and 3p next, and more, in my opinion.

#NCCL Excellent AFDB note on its support for Mozambique (where NCCL projects based) with its renewable energy needsp/ rogrammes
'With 187 gigawatts, Mozambique has the most significant power generation potential in southern Africa, thanks to untapped resources in coal, hydroelectricity, gas, wind, and solar energy.'
See NCCLs 5000MW+ Grid Scale Solar, as part of Moz's huge step forward on #energy
It's all happening!
Good luck folks!
Yes looking like a good week ahead. Already ticked up.
#NCCL Getting closer to 5000MW+ Solar Project Feasibility Study Completion news, matter of days/ 2weeks
SP already edging up, with further rises ahead of news, and still only £4m market cap, on low risk, high confidence project.
Upside is HUGE and in play and permanent Breakout on the horizon! 2p and then 3p next, in my view.
Good luck folks!

News in approximately 2 weeks. The SP has started torise already, in advance of the news and from a progressively higher SP. Upcoming news will give the concrete platform to breakout sustainably, towards a more realistic market cap. Upside is HUGE.
Good luck folks!
Next week, the completed Study results will/should be published. Expecting price to increase in anticipation.
Another great tweet by #NCCL, showing HUGE #energy supply opportunities in Mozambique and Southern African Region. Ncondezi extremely well placed to capitalise. The upside from a sub £4m market cap (given 5000MW + potential) is unmatched in my opinion.

---- Once again, we talking about 5000MW + Grid Scale Solar potential, where the market and demand are proven and waiting, low risk/ high investability, with currently a sub-£4m market cap, leaving upside and risk/reward balance unmatched, I would argue.
---- And concrete news in a matter of weeks!
Certainly looking very positive for NCCL. Solar Power in Mozambique is very much needed, with a potential long term GOAL of 5000MW. If Ncondezi pull this off its truly a game changer. Looking forwards to the full feasibility study report.
Great tweet just now by .@Ncondezi_Energy.
Drawing on a Club of Mozambique article about the possibilities for Solar Power, the tweet gives a strong sense of the need, demand and the available market for electricity in Mozambique. See article by .@clubOmozambique
https://clubofmozambique.com/news/solar-power-is-the-fastest-growing-in-mozambique-225818/
Tweet read:
'#Solar #power was the fastest growing source of electricity in #Mozambique between 2017 & 2021 yet still only represents <1% of the electricity generated in country #NCCL'
https://twitter.com/Ncondezi_Energy/status/1577569277707698176
See in the context of #NCCLs Solar Project
-Potentially over 5000MW!
-Already talking to offtakers!
-Funding easily sourced, with large insti's waiting to join the Party.
-Where less than 1% of power is generated from solar power, and where c.40% ppl connected to reliable electricity supply; see also in the context of Mozambiques 'Energy For All' programme, where they aim to have 100% of the population connected.
Again, HUGE need, demand and market, where there is very strong state-level/ political and local support!
All for a market cap of £4m! The Upside is monumental!
#stockstowatch #StocksToBuy #stocks #StocksInNews
Yes thanks I had read that.
I would refer to the recent post by Benjan1, on a slightly earlier thread.
Funding ??? Await news !
#NCCL HUGE prospects and upside potential!
- 5000MW + Solar Project
- Off-takers engaged!
- News in weeks! (End of October, for Feasibility Study completiion and results)
- Market Cap just £4m, when
'Ncondezi should be one of the most valuable companies in the Southern African Development Community'
https://www.thearmchairtrader.com/ncondezi-share-price-nccl-30sep22/
---- That's what I call upside!
#StocksToBuy #Stocks #StocksToBuy #stocksinFocus
On a Grid Scale Solar project, with all of this:
- 5000MW + (the plus is in the RNS, meaning potentially more!)
- Already talking to off-takers!
- Low Risk/ High Investability and Confidence, with funding easliy securable IMO
- Large Institutions who were previous holders very possibly to return to the table, for Solar
- Moz State supportive
- Market Cap still only £4m.
When
- '...estimated pre-money NPV between US$60m and US$65m, and fully diluted cash flows to Ncondezi of between US$130m and US$180m over a 25 year period for a 300MW plant.'
---- And we talking potentially over 5000MW!
---- First power/ coming on line 2024.
End of Month, News due on completion of the Feasibility Study, so within weeks!
Chariman's Comment, from the Interims:
"Initial results from the Study have confirmed that the target project location within the Company's existing mining concession in Tete, Mozambique, has excellent solar generation resources with no immediate red flags identified. The Study is expected to be completed at the end of October 2022, targeting a market leading power tariff offering for the region. We believe that should it proceed, the Solar Project would be one of the largest solar PV projects undertaken in Mozambique to date and expect the project to be uniquely positioned in the market, able to scale quickly and take advantage of economies of scale. In addition, we expect the Solar Project to deliver a low cost accelerated development programme to financial close, achievable through leveraging existing advanced stage development work from the Company's Ncondezi Project. Planning for success, there is a clear roadmap for delivery of power onto the Mozambican Grid in 2024 which is exciting. "
Looking like virtually all trades today were buys. Certainly the ones at 1.03p were. Probably also the 500k and 550k.
Seems like we have a little momentum beginning to build and Ncondezi hitting a few peoples radars. If they can pull off a substantial Solar Electrical generation plant without heavy dilution, then current holders will do extremely well. Heres hoping:)
Excellent post Benjan1.
Worth remembering that while the coal project remained uncertain, Moz authorities were supportive of 'alternative uses' for the site ie. turning out to be solar. Worth adding further, the company is talking to off-takers already and will have more to report later this month, following complestion of the Feasibility Study for the Grid Scale Solar Project (i.e. 5000MW!)
Good article showing the significant prospects & upside at #NCCL
SP remains hugely undervalued after excellent RNS on initial FS results for the Grid Scale Solar Project. While pointing out the challenges/ risks, the article also captures a great sense of the possibilities with this stock. The Upside is significant, especially with solar being low risk/ high confidence and investability. This, in a country where only 41% of the domestic population is connected and where the wider Southern African Region beyond Mozambique is in a similar if not worse position, and actively looking to import from Moz.
Remembering Solar Project us 5000MW and they are already talking to off-takers!
This from the article captures the potential here. Now is the time to be getting in/ adding and holding.

Some minor buying so far today. Stabilised at 1p, which is good news. I would very much expect us to increase gradually as we head towards the mid month and a robust RNS regarding full Clarity on "the Solar Project"
Thanks StanAccy, recently ScottFletcher and the other directors have agreed convertible loans for working capital. It’s most likely they will continue to do so whilst there is a viable solar project and future possibility of coal power.
Remember, SF bought the battery storage project for over $1m to fund the working capital previously. If the BOD’s intent was to call in the loans to take the assets, they could have done so previously.
Appreciate you taking time to express views, there is risk here, but also plenty of upside if the solar project alone is delivered.
