Hi everyone,
Italian, a great presentation. Was great to see what the outlook and vision looks like for Napster.
I hope everyone has now received their first payments.
So that everything is now clear for all holders of existing shares, can someone with analytical knowledge please provide a clear breakdown of what holders can expect from the 2nd third and final payments pence price/per held share for each instalment? This seems to be tricky to understand.
I noticed that Lloyds/Halifax has removed my holding details from the share dealing platform, this seems in-necessary, and is a little alarming seeing as though they aswell as other brokers should still be accountable for making additional payments to shareholders? Would anyone else agree? And any ideas why they would do this?
Thanks for your replies.
morning HM.have a look at Glenstars post on 6th october. he sets out the figures which i think are correct.the next two payments are going to be much smaller than the first one and we don't know (and won't know until after the event) how much is going to be deducted to meet the contingencies against which the funds have been reserved,so could be very small in actuality. the final payment (which will only be made apparently if they don't launch the crypto by end of march) should be a bit higher than the one we have had.just a caveat,in that i have not been provided with a full transcript of the actual deal terms, just second hand through brokers,so although I've been told there will be no final payment if they lunch the crypto,I've not seen the precise wording of the takeover documents giving chapter and verse. that may be something we need to look into further if it becomes an issue.
odd that your holding details have been removed completely. if it were me i ould give them a ring to clarify.
Just to add to this; reading back on this board it looks as if the offer the acquire was made around 25 February and went unconditional at 30 March 2022. The payments for steps 2, 3 and 4 all fall due on the one year anniversary which would be 30 March 2023. Though if the Algorand crypto are issued before this date we would receive step 4 in kind at that time.
On the Halifax approach the receipt of corporate notice is itself a confirmation of holding even though they have wiped the shareholding from the board. within that corporate notice there was the assurance that this would not affect entitlement though unfortunately by using the verb “effect” rather than “affect” they appear to convey the opposite. A session on the chat line confirmed this though they did not seem to understand the finer points of English grammar!
does anyone know how to get the corporate action documents? Still waiting on the first payment...
Flits, what is the name of your broker ? I am still waiting too (with IBKR- Interactive Brokers)
That is Credit Suisse.
Yesterday, I received the first payment (Interactive Brokers)
That was a long time! crazy that they held it for that long. So, the next payments, are these guaranteed now, or can anything change? going by the comments below we should receive roughly the same again in the next 3 payments as some less than this time.
