Mel
i was very happy to see the partners on the presentation , the combinations that could happen are very impressive , once they get over the running costs the profit margins should be very healthy , i still think £1 2023 :) but happy to wait until 2025 .
good luck .
Hey LF,
The success of our latest investor (see below) is proven without doubt, the portfolio of companies is staggering, I believe his influence and management of his investment in MelodyVR/Napster speaks a lot of his confidence in the product!!

IMO
Mel will you stop positive posting your upsetting the natives :)
think that one has hit the mark mel!
yes that's my point really mel. we may get back to something like normal eventually for a time( maybe longer) but suspect there wi be negative aspects for some time to come, which may well make streaming more attractive.just speculation of course.
I guess there is a high probability we could be the Streaming Partner if it’s to be streamed!!

What is built into the new APP, and why it takes time!

Interesting q Italian. Depends on whether you have been vaccinated I guess. Vaccination Passports a must? Who knows but uncertainty re live physical attendance will help streaming / VR
added attraction of LFTs both before and after! if one person tests positive afterwards does it mean that all 5000 have to isolate?

Blossoms to headline COVID-19 pilot gig in Liverpool with no social distancing
5,000 local fans will head to Sefton Park next month for the test event, with no masks or distancing required
Thanks for the FT Film link Mel5, very interesting. No diggity, there are big changes happening in the global music business and hopefully we will be a successful part of that change.

Worth a look! IMO
No doubt he is MrH.
In fact he paid 4.5p for 115m of his 120m shares, so he is only slightly under water, like a lot of us.
Re the options, I'm sure they'll sort it between them. It's not a great problem.
The main thing is to get Broadway working again, which everyone wants. The potential is huge -talking in money terms obviously. But at the end of the day, that is what matters.
Albert - none of us know what’s being discussed, but I can make a good bet that Gore is still interested in his investment options here; of course he is. He will be considering how best to make up for lost revenues and we are still in pole position to assist and work with him. It’s great we can talk positively about the opportunities here. Certainly exciting times ahead :-)
Yes a huge database, around 5 million, which will almost exclusively come from the 15 million yearly paying customers.
JG can hand them on a plate to Napster just to get them started. Then the live steaming can reach out all over the world.
All this could have been up and running last year.
Whoever said Covid was supposed to be a 'Golden Opportunity'.
Some did !
Well it's a thought. And goodness knows, Napster are certainly giving us LTHs plenty to think about.
But to what extent would JG want to get involved with tech. Five years ago wouldn't have even thought of it.
He is a musical impresario on Broadway. What would our UK equivalents, Cameron Mackintosh and Lloyd-Webber do?
Perhaps we're over-complicating things.
It's not as if Napster/JG haven't got any idea how they plan to move forward when they are able to. It's just that we don't get told very quickly.
And we do have Equitory now. This is just the sort of situation for them to get involved in.
Under one App and the huge customer base already and waiting , he must be eyeing the mobile 5G and rubbing his hands , day traders are allowed to speculate different to us LTH so goose and gander :)
Again JGO wants to bring Broadway to the rest of the world and by 2025 most will have these 5G mobiles stuck to their foreheads . VR was only ever an extra to live fully stocked venues , setting up the cameras on a sell out crowd was so cheap to do , and when these light weight glasses land -------------------------
Albert you better win today , we have an easy route for the last few games , we could end up third :)
I think BrownAdder suggested keeping theatre as a separate entity a while back (so can’t credit this idea as all my own)
That would interest him enough re his o/s options IMO
My view is that is that music streaming & VR has now back-seated Theatre and discussions are ongoing re what to do there. Gore must be primarily concerned with using the tech for theatre, but our resources won’t be able to stretch to music & theatre IMO. So, what does Gore do?! If I was him, I would license the tech, use and rename the Melody VR app to something Broadway related and then allow him to focus and manage the theatre side, all under the Naspster Group umbrella. Just thinking out loud mainly, in the knowledge that the day traders don’t work weekends :-)
Yes, there is a lot of info we are waiting for re JGO.
It is a slight niggle that nothing is getting a mention, but probably Melody are fully occupied Napster, so to speak.
What's more JGO are not working because they are not able to, even to the point their website is not getting updated.
Not having been told anything different, we're entitled to assume the partnership still exists.
He retains his holding of 120 million shares. The question is, what is he likely to do with his outstanding options?
Presumably he will exercise them if the SP reaches 15.3p by the end of the year !
We will have to wait and see.
Yes that’s right, but there is no mention of theatre. It could be that the existing Melody VR app is still used(separate to the new Napster app) just for theatre and maybe even managed by Gore & Co. just a wild thought as to why Gore has gone off the radar but presumably must still be keen to invest (beyond recouping his losses)
From what they've said Mr H, they intend to phase it out altogether when the new app is ready.
And if they can incorporate it into the new app, it will simpler with everything 'under one roof'.
Again IMO.
Not saying they will, but they could just use the current “old” Melody VR app platform for theatre post-new app
Morning Lord
TBH, not sure how they'll work the app. Whatever, they'll need to be ready when Broadway is. That shouldn't be a problem because Broadway isn't likely to get the green light before September. And then the shows, the dates, rehearsals and everything else have to be planned. Broadway is unlikely to be it's old self much before 2022 anyway. IMO. But that's only 8 months away.
Three points today and you'll be third.
One win tomorrow and Saints are in the final. It's only Leicester ! LOL
