Typical, I post and along comes an RNS which not surprisingly knocks the SP back. Hopefully, this change of accounting policy, which I would expect them to follow, as it is a requirement to follow general accounting policies laid down by law will not deter long term iis. Importantly, the change does not affect the company's profit in cash terms and that is a fact that should not be ignored. GLA.
Typo - was referring to the 10dma not 10sma.
I have finished filing all my clients' tax returns for another year. Phew! So, I can contribute again to this bb. Daily chart is at an interesting point in that the 10sma is about to go up through the 50dma, which can be a good sign. SP has been quiet, but encouraging that it has been holding at this level for a while. The chairman said before Xmas that he looked forward to updating the market on our 2016 results in early 2017 and I am expecting that to be before last year's equivalent which was in March. I shall be more interested in what he says about the prospects for 2017 as will potential investors no doubt. The CEO certainly gave a very upbeat view on the TipTV interview in early January.
Sorry to hear that stpeter, been very quiet on here, news soon, then some decent volume
Just to let you know that I shall not be posting for the time being, due to the attitude of another poster and work commitments. I still own the shares I acquired recently as currently they are definitely one to hold. GLA
They weren't buys they were sells first thing this morning
Lots of buys again but price is still sliding ! Any ideas ?
Fair enough, think the potential is more than that, am awaiting the results to see how much has been added since the last update, but going on past performance I would expect it be something between a 'lot' and a 'heck of a lot'! Will also be interesting to see how much solar has come online as well.
Just some reference too work out how much mytrah could be worth compared to current market cap
MYT should have operating cashflow of $100m per year based on 1GW. This is after paying interest costs of $80m. They have around $850m of debt. If they stopped building now they could repay that in 7years or so. That would mean $180m of cash coming in for the remaining c15 years of the projects. Gives some idea of cash generation that Bob referred to in the interview and why when Cantor does a DCF valuation it got to 130p. Even that I think is out of date and if it was done now would be much higher.
Smt, not entirely sure on the relevance of this, other than to remind people that since going bust Sunedison have been selling off their Indian portfolio (think it is pretty much done now) which does mean less competition for Mytrah!
The seller appears to be back again after those healthy purchases this morning. Hopefully, he or she will run out of shares to sell!
2015-06-18 14:00:00 US Energy firm Sun Edison's acquisition of Indian renewable energy developer Continuum Wind has a positive read-across for AIM-quoted Mytrah Energy (LON:MYT), reckons broker Cantor today. US Energy firm Sun Edison's acquisition of Indian renewable energy developer Continuum Wind has a positive read-across for AIM-quoted Mytrah Energy (LON:MYT), reckons broker Cantor today. Mytrah Energy has built a portfolio of over 600 MW (Megawatt) of operating wind plants in India since 2010 "We think Sun Edison is attracted by the significant opportunities in the Indian renewables market where Mytrah and Greenko are already active and have already built up track records," notes analyst Adam Forsyth. He added that the acquisition price was not disclosed though sources in the Indian press were valuing the deal at between US$620mln and US$650mln. The analyst also notes that Continuum has 242MW of operating wind capacity with 170MW under construction and a further 1,000MW under development. Therefore, based on the operating and under-construction assets the deal works out at US$1.5mln per megawatt. Forsyth notes that he estimates that a read across at this level would value Mytrah at over 300p per share. That compares to a current price of 78.75p - up 3.11% on the day. Cantor says it believes the stock remains attractive and undervalued and it remains buyers with a target price based on its DCF model of 130p.
This share has not gone up
Must be short of shares dropped the price to trick us into selling
Must something on the cards or ii moving in
Agree, I think they were all buy as volume came to a round 35000 trades for the day soon far and it's only 9.39
Nice start to the day techandy and SMT. The consolidation of the last two days a help for the next push up. Hopefully, that multi seller will not be back again.
Buys outweighed sells 3 to 1 today. Seems the seller has gone. Interesting though with the ratio that they ticked the price down. Tomorrow is another day. GL All
Only just checked in today as very busy at work. Yes, quite good today. A degree of consolidation happening, which is not a bad thing, to launch higher. Let's hope we don't get that automatic trade seller again this afternoon.
Good volume again alot of buys
I definitely spoke too soon when I posted earlier today. The seller(s) must have read it and said we'll show you! Just like before, the round amounts are all automatic executions. If I did not know better, I would think that it was a computer trading. Regretfully, I have no insight into how and why this is happening to MYT. Is someone trying to depress the price on purpose or is it perhaps an investor with a large holding needing to sell for some reason?
Looks like that seller has come around again or is it the mm holding this back
I think it's a combination of three factors - the sellers have gone, a few pis are realising the potential here and the TipTV presentation no doubt also helped. Long may it continue!
Last few trading days the volume has been really high and again today my the double the average, something on the cards
