10,000 a day ... thanks for digging that article out Smartic
Thanks Smartic, always good to get a 2nd opinion :)
10,000 units capacity per day from Malta
Circa €60m revenue potential pa to Mgc

Sorry for the copy and paste, looks like 10,000 units a day so 300,000 a month from what they say.
Key Highlights:
MGC Pharma has been granted assistance of 3.1 million Euro (~A$5 million) cash grant from Malta Enterprise to set up a fully functional GMP facility for the production of ArtemiC™ in Malta
The Malta facility will create a European manufacturing hub for ArtemiCTM with the ability to scale production to meet expected growing demand following positive clinical trial results
The EU GMP facility will be able to produce 10,000 units of liquid dose medicines per day.
Strong support has been received from the Maltese government through Malta Enterprise to establish a world-class GMP facility to respond to the growing pharma and cannabis industries on the island
Construction of the extension to the MXC Malta facility has commenced and is expected to be completed Q2 CY2021

I personally have never seen anything written down about 200,000 units ....in the prospectus there is nothing about production capacity ..although it is actually 480 m2 facility , i saw that ...so I don't actually know where Irontaz has that figure from...
Thanks Pokerchips, looks promising for a 440m2 factory with a output of 200,000 units :)
Buys far outnumber sells, the current price is ridiculous.
640,000 euro revenue / 40,000 units = 16 euro each
Take out production costs, patent costs etc etc and say the profit margin is 50%
8 euro profit per unit
8 euro x 40,000 = 320,000 euro
320,000 euro per quarter = 106,000 euro pre tax profit per month ...as a rough scribble figure
to go from a production of 40,000 per quarter to 200,000 a month would be a massive big increase indeed..

The fact its budget week in oz the price dips. Literally saying they will throw money at treatments .
Humongous budget. .
Imo this is it ! 1m trail run then the big one , sniff of good news too aussie govt from swiss best buds & boom.
Visualise Federer serving an ace .
Thanks for the figures, apparently 40,000 ordered this quarter and any additional extra orders, shows to me capacity is higher than 12,000 a month but off 40,000 the revenue was 600,000 euro so off maltas 200,000 capacity revenue would be like 3,000,000 euro a month. Wonder what profit on a month basis it would come out with
From what I understand they can produce 12,000 units capacity from Slovenia, when Malta comes online that capacity can be increased to 200,000 units a month.
Sure maybe your correct or maybe they have crunched the numbers and worked out going forward better to open small plant scattered across world wide to save time and transportation just a thought.
Not sure small is a good plan, unless you really don't expect the volume. I would have thought a little excess space at the start would cover any initial expansion. Take out space for storage of material, packaging, lables, and storage of end product prior to shipping, and the machinery is going to have little room to expand. Still I am sure they crunched the numbers and it will work.
Thanks all for clarity, I suppose the additional distribution centre will help as for the size 440m2 not big but its a start.... If they had of initial went big guessed they would of needed extra funding and uncertainty of volume, I guess they made the right choice in setting up small.
Construction of the facility—which will be primarily used to produce CimetrA and other liquid dose medicines—is now well underway, with close to half of half of the grant money being made available to the company at the end of March.
MGC Pharma has also confirmed that it currently expects construction on the Malta site to be both operational later this year and completed within the current estimated budget.
"MGC Pharma is now in an excellent position to realise its potential and build on the foundations that have been set in the past 12 months, as we remain on target to reach break even this financial year," MGC Pharma CEO Roby Zomer said.
" Is the Malta factory on schedule"
no..it is going to be a bit late...was due June ..they then said .."up and running later in the year" ..which is still within the grant agreement time though
at only 440 sq metre .. it isnt going to be a very big factory ...the research stuff is on the first floor with production area on the ground floor ...not sure what the maximum daily production number capability will be
yes it is as it has to be done within a deadline due to the grant
Is the Malta factory on schedule
They already have different agreements, but you never hear anything further from them ... doesn't appear they have the production capacity to actually supply ?..given that they seem to be working round the clock just to serve Swiss PharmaCan AG

With current situation, it's only right they fast track approval and roll out, instead of hanging about watching situation worsen in countries.
