Stable and good profit and revenue streams.
Expect this to rerate now
Broker target 800.00
Midwich Group, which supplies audio visual products to the trade market worldwide, predicts it finished 2023 with revenue of £1.3bn, representing growth of 7pc on 2022.
As reported in news yesterday
A Norfolk firm is expecting to have generated more than £1bn revenue last year, a record figure for the business.
Although it's nice to have the share price getting back to a reasonable value, I never like
to see a straight line up like this. It'll probably come back down again just as quick!!
Unless there's a reason for this hike that some people know about and I don't??
And another. That's Mr Fenby spending £387,000 on shares in his company in 3 weeks.
I'm assuming he knows the next set of figures are going to be ok?
Mind you, I made my first purchase of these last autumn on the back of him buying a load.
Didn't seem to help much then, probably won't this time either!
Still, always a good sign though .... I think.
Nice to see Mr Fenby spending £200,000 on shares (£100,000 last week, and £100,000 yesterday).
HSBC raises Midwich Group to 'buy' - price target 545 pence
Plus another SIX companies they're buying "to be completed in the next 6 mths" !!!
And yet business is "challenging".
I suppose they know what they're doing lol
This hasn't been a good investment for me so far (bought in October 2022 for 449p).
Yes, indeed. Just after I sold up at £4.91 at a small loss. Typical. Hard to find alpha in these markets.
If anyone is looking, which I doubt, it seems I'm the only one who seems to be excited about this little company, can they please tell me what all those weird huge trades are?
Obviously they are not all sells as the colour red suggests. But why the repitition of the the big numbers?
Are there really £4m and £5m trades going through today in this little company???
HUGE numbers going through the trades between 13:23 and 13:24???
At last .... are we starting to make our way?
I reckon there's some acquisitions coming soon.
Great set of results from this little 'under the radar company'
Huge trades gone through today. But they don't make sense to me.
Multiples of the same volume and time.
If they're all sells, surely the share price would be dropping?
Possibly they're old trades that are only now being reported?
...... end of last week. I'm desperately hoping there'll be support around here. There should be, looking at the 2 yr chart. but what do I know!! Lol
Their figures look great, but will they hold up in an economic downturn?
... be a good buy back in here soon. Very healthy little company.
Better than I thought it would be.
No wonder the sp shot up 2 days before this update!? But of course, that is never investigated.
Revenue up to 710, and an adjusted profit of 14m. Not bad for a pandemic year.
You can quickly work out though that the 'adjusted profit before tax' is down 55% on the year.
So ..... can this be construed as good? ........ or bad?
I guess the sudden rise in sp a couple of days ago tells us the market might like this.
Decided to take my profit here. probably the wrong thing to do, but just cannot see a great set of figures coming due to the ongoing climate.
I can't decide whether to hold or sell before the trading update on the 25th?
...... I still see stormy times ahead .
For a little while longer anyway.
Standard Life selling 1.5% (and looks like Granular picking them up).
To buy, or not to buy ....... that is the question.
But isn't that always the question lol?
So, the growth trajectory has definitely started to flatten off. It had to happen sooner of later I suppose.
Will I get my £4 buy ?
