The best research anyone could do on this company is to pop down to Maplin and buy a few of their products. Always available direct on eBay and in my local electric distributor. Recommend getting a set of plug-in power switches with a remote. Use them for some feature table lights around your living room - you know the annoying ones your wife insists on for ambient lighting but that you have to fiddle with to switch on and off - annoys the hell out of me!! Once you have those and a central controller linked to your wifi hub, you can then play with the lights through your phone. The key to this link up with Google/Amazon/Apple is the networking effect. If you have a new toy (new voice activated assistant) you want to play with it. People will look for things to do in their home so why not buy a few light switches to tell Alexa to turn off those f...ing lights. Lightwave are the most visible and available devices in the UK. They used to be more visible under Siemens branding in B&Q but loads of technical probs and returns seem to have ended that. I have invested in a few devices to better understand my investment. Techie problems are a big turn-off and they have not solved all issues in the stuff that I have. That is my concern - all the marketing in the world will make you swiftly broke if it leads to sales that get returned. Home automation even at the cheap end is not yet throwaway money. Apple HomeKit release is the next market. Can they also get in on the act with the next iPhone release? Or the release of the Siri assistant. When is the Hub 2 coming out? Will Hub 2 work with existing set-ups or do people have to invest in a whole load of new devices with AIM chips? Lots of questions that need to have been thought through with their business strategy. Could be big if new md has strategy that works. Could easily flop if not. Speculative still. But do play with their toys and annoy the other half!!
Wonder how things will go on Monday
Not yet , I don't think , they are still busy testing and approving the product , the way things will move don't think it will be long before results , one to watch
is the company's collaboration with apple confirmed?
Exactly: don't think alienpc and mrcalm have been on that board since their 30+ predictions never happened, looks like the price well down again, hope I saved some people a lot of money yesterday.
Not bad but i feel it will go lower, so you can buy some now and maybe some later, or all in one go, looking bearish.
a good price to buy in?
What the shit!.
Still be interesting though. Now the "excitement" has died down a bit it would be good to hear his views on where the co. is and where he sees it going. Might help get us to get a feel for the longer term investment case. ie longer than the usual aim 24hrs.
It seems unlikely the podcast will have a positive impact on the share price (as some may be hoping) as price sensitive information can't be discussed as this can only be released via an RNS.
Any idea what time its on today ?
TBH I got spooked by the mention of needing extra investment. Great long term I expect, but was only ever short term for me.
Most have sold this morning on the spike and move on!! Let's see what the CEO say in the podcast and see if that will move the SP back up to 26/27p
Well I'm busy elsewhere
slow rate of buys whot time is podcast
this will pick up soon
I think you may be surprised ...
cant be any free float now and company is in a stronger position

share talk
after the sharetalk interview in my opinion
We have seen a significant improvement in sales via multiple distributors and continue to develop our technology most recently as a partner of Google. Later this year, we are launching a new range of devices, which we expect also to be Apple Homekit certified, the culmination of an extended period of development work. Under the leadership of our new CEO, we look forward to building further brand awareness and exploiting the wider market opportunity
§ Current order book of £1,100,000 after invoicing over £500,000 in April § Total Lightwave Link installations 44,000 to date § Voice control now over 5,500 users, mostly through Amazon Alexa
So many shares spike on AIM then rapidly head back down. Looks like a company with decent prospects but I'll watch from the sidelines for now and wait for a lower entry price in the coming days.
haven't had any problems getting a quote all morning - price for a top up is not yet right, so will no doubt be getting more SP quotes during the morning to see which way this goes today.
