Dean, a closed period is something else and doesn't apply to this scenario.
Directors of UK listed companies only need to get approval from the chairman to buy.
Here's an excerpt from Stockopedia:
When can Insiders Trade?
The directors of companies traded on the LSE cannot trade during the two months preceding a preliminary, final or interim earnings announcement and one month prior to a quarterly earnings announcement. Outside the trading ban periods, directors still require clearance to trade from the board's chairman. In contrast, there are no such restrictions in the US system which favours frequent disclosure to remove possible insider advantages rather than trading bans during price-sensitive times.

They are in a 30 day closed period now from date of director buys. Which means no price sensitive news before then. However I’m sure a buyout/takeover will still be allowed as it out of irr directors hands if someone makes an offer.
Are there any rules for AIM company directors when they can or cannot buy shares in their own company? (Drilling ann. coming, T/O, corp. activity.)
Don't necessarily agree that FFWD is a dog Matador. It seamlessly did 150% for those who got the low 5p stock a couple of months ago.
They needed those funds as well. Anyone who took any notice of the last financials could see they were cash constrained. They were just victim to the usual AIM market mechanics whilst carrying out the raise.
It looks like a few have taken the opportunity to get some IRR this week. The MD and chairman buys welcome support for the business at 15p.
It's going to be an interesting few months for the business as they carry out further infill drilling at Zaranou with the view to publishing the maiden resource. Any valued added to the lithium in Ghana also welcomed as we market that asset towards the impending high quality lithium supply crunch.
The stars are aligning again for IronRidge Resources.
If I was trying to drum up interest for FFWD I certainly wouldnt be doing it on the IRR board.
And I certainly wouldnt be drumming up interest for FFWD while a load of Placees dump their shares. not my style. I know gold prices are going through the roof and good luck to you if you guys moon. I always have a look at IRR board when FFWD has a large seller because you can guarantee IRR will start getting buys.
and youre right Sharketmare it has been an absolute dog. I couldnt hand on heart recommend it at the moment.
Every dog has its day though. (so they say)
He's either referring to the infamous wadnob who punts both stocks or he is simply trying to drum up interest for FFWD (a dog of a share which I took a healthy loss on, so forgive my bias).
Interesting for weeks ahead for the LTHs here. We have been massively undervalued for some time the price movement this week indicates the tide may well be turning. Leaving the lihtium and Chad aside, our execs think we are sitting on 5moz at Zaranou which would result in an MCAP closer to the SOLGs and CGPs of the world than where we are now.
A great entry point for anyone waiting on the sidelines.
Matador78 what do you mean???
There's a coincidence. Big Seller in FFWD price hike in IRR
