All finger in the air stuff mate but good to have some sort of figures.
With loads of north/southern north sea assets up for grabs i can see maybe one more biggish buy from Mr C hopefully using Engies help.
Morning RB . I think these comparisons are dangerous because RockRose for example has about £250m in cash. Hopefully HALO can be valued at least £2/sh maybe.
Morning MT
Nice to see your fag packet figure coming in again keep us posted mate.
Over the moon, Jupiter, Mars and back !! Valuation is really tricky though. There is a hunger out there to buy North Sea assets and sometimes a bidding war. If say Rockrose were to buy HALO it would increase their reserves by about 30% and production by say 15%. Rockrose should be valued at say £480m. So using comparisons like this you get a decent market cap for HALO.
As we can see, there is a large disconnect between an accountants valuation and the markets valuation. The market valuation is well below an accountants valuation. That is why I think I would prefer a takeover of HALO, it would mean we get a higher price. It could also mean the re-list price is going to be higher than anticipated. There is hope at least !!…;o))
Number of shares in issue
29,886,836
1 January 2019
How many shares are there?
I'd be over the moon with MC of £100m to £150m.
You could apply the benchmark ~£8 per barrel P2 but I guess that would depend on how much profit HALO actually make when factoring in the Engie take off agreement and CAPEX required for PW. £150m market cap would be quite nice though...;o))
Let’s hope we can squeeze in one more asset purchase before the hugely anticipated 2020 re-list..;0))
19mmboe of reserves 3400bopd God only knows what it’s worth, might give Diane Abbot a call...lol

I am guessing this may be a contributor to the Dutch TTF price crash and may further affect the price going forward. Interesting that Engie are part funders of the pipeline construction. For a minnow company Cochran has done an amazing job positioning HALO alongside some of Europe's major energy players.
...and happy Christmas from me too to all the regulars. May Cochran's 2020 vision be a good one. Ha ha, early cracker joke there!
Have a good Christmas all and a happy new year which hopefully will be full of Halo cheer.
Boris full ahead, brexit ready to go in a can oh no deal is still an option. The clown hasn't a f clue
69 £ ! Based on what?
Seems like full steam ahead for Boris and his chums.
Evening lads.
Brexit hasent done us or halo any good whatsoever They we’re never going to IPO until it’s all sorted.
So fingers crossed whoever wins they get a move on.
Hey don’t forget we’ve been labour up here since the beginning of time and we’ll still be the same even with City’s money. My MP lives 800 yards from me a right posh cow she is.... how things change over time eh.
£69,000 per share...lol
Burnley would be richer than Manchester City
...should blow Aramco feeble effort out of the water...;o)))
Unless Corbyn wins the election, then we are all fkd
This time next year Rodders.
New CPR, new acquisition, Maple drill too and then (drum roll) RELIST !!
The E15c licence contains the ca. 20-50Bcf Maple prospect which is now scheduled to be drilled in 2020. Maple is a Triassic, sandstone target (Bunter fm.); the partners are Neptune Energy (30% Op.), HALO (20%), GasPlus (10%) & EBN (40%).
Maple is proximal to the existing Vincent Discovery (HALO 30%) and the F-16E production facilities (HALO 4.147%); in a success case Maple (& possibly Vincent) could be tied-back to F-16E for a “fast track” development. The well is considered low cost and of moderate risk for 2020 drilling.
Morning all, feel for those holding Tullow this morning. Maybe there’s a fire sale coming for them and any bits left over Halo could pick up again.
Make you right easyinvestor I like my investments working for me & as retiring soon returns is my number 1 requirement. Have now put this info in my fanciful p/f but hopefully i recover something before i die. But good to see the diane abbott brigade of economists still holding a candle for HNL though !
Thank got I was not waiting for this pile of poo to pay for my new house! I've avoided looking for news but thought'd take a peek total waste of time poor news when it came, strung on for two years, and in my view will not realist 2020 I predict something like message saying in brief no value in business and assets sold to pay any creditor. Just as well I ain't got my shirt in here and like one poster said to me this was a punt but not after all this time I feel more like what Victoria Derbyshire call Jeremy hunt during election for PM
Yes AN results are a bit subdued but there is still potential I guess.
F5 award is exciting though. F4 & F12 are still outstanding and may be awarded too soon.
From May 2019 - HALO eagerly awaits a conclusion to this process in 2019. The adjacent F5 & F4 Blocks (as well as F12), if awarded, represent highly sought-after acreage on "ground floor" terms wholly consistent with the Group’s strategic focus.

Neptune’s managing director for The Netherlands Lex de Groot said: “We are excited about progressing our plans for exploration in this area which underlines Neptune’s commitment to investing in exploration opportunities and growing our portfolio.
“The shallow depth and properties of the targeted Tertiary gas reservoirs provide new opportunities for Neptune and are a different exploration play compared to our existing activities in the Carboniferous, Rotliegend, and Triassic gas fields.”
