LONDON (Alliance News) - Clean water technology company HaloSource Inc on Tuesday said it has achieved pilot-scale production of its filtration media device, and continues to progress towards full-scale production. HaloSource said its filtration media was developed for application in gravity-fed devices, such as pitchers, and overcomes the challenge of reducing both colloidal lead and dissolved lead salts from water. The device meets and exceeds standards set by the National Standards Foundation for lead reduction. HaloSource said its product represents a "major step forward in the application of a cartridge based form for reduction of lead from household drinking water when deployed in a gravity fed application". Samples of the material will ship to several interested commercial partners by the end of February. "We are delighted to be progressing toward full-scale production of an entirely new technology to address the issue of heavy metal contamination at the household level," said James Thompson, acting chief executive of HaloSource. Shares in HaloSource were up 20% at 1.65 pence on Tuesday.
thanks
This announcement contains inside information HaloSource, Inc. ("HaloSource" or the "Company") Announces successful pilot production of lead reduction media HaloSource Inc. (HAL.LN, HALO.LN), the global clean water technology company traded on London Stock Exchange's AIM market, announces today that it has succeeded in pilot-scale production of a filtration media that is expected to be the class-leading lead ("Pb") reduction media for gravity-cartridge applications, capable of meeting National Standards Foundation/ANSI 53 ("NSF/ANSI 53") certification in a certified device. The novel formulation invented by HaloSource scientists for application in gravity-fed devices (such as pitchers) overcomes the challenge of reducing both colloidal lead and dissolved lead salts from water, meeting and exceeding NSF/ANSI 53 standards for lead reduction to below the current acceptable threshold of 10 parts per billion (ppb). This breakthrough media represents a major step forward in the application of a cartridge based form for reduction of lead from household drinking water when deployed in a gravity fed application (including pitchers, bottles, counter top units, etc) and the potential to reduce other heavy metals. The HaloSource solution is unique in the mechanism and cartridge life, which will be more than double the capacity compared to competitive gravity pitchers currently certified to reduce lead to NSF/ANSI 53 standards. This innovation represents the Company's 2nd major technology platform joining HaloPure®, the world's leading brominated bead media for cartridge-based bacteria and virus disinfection in a wide variety of devices and applications. In summary: · Lab-scale media has been tested at Water Quality Association ("WQA") and met the NSF/ANSI 53 standards for pH 8.5 & 6.5 lead reduction in a representative gravity-fed drinking water device · Pilot-scale media has been successfully produced and tested to the NSF/ANSI 53 standard by a 3rd party · Samples of the material will ship to several interested commercial partners by the end of February James Thompson, acting CEO of HaloSource, commented, "We are delighted to be progressing toward full-scale production of an entirely new technology to address the issue of heavy metal contamination at the household level. The size of the market for this product is enormous and this innovation will allow us to enter the North American market, where the problems of lead contamination at the household level are proving to be far more widespread than imagined. Flint, Michigan is a particular example of how important this breakthrough will prove to be as the issues of water contamination through chemical contamination (primarily lead) grow steadily worse and consumers look to solutions that can provide a "final barrier" of protection at the househ
find rns can someone post
found it :P
what rns? Not here or on investegate!
what a great RNS. this wont go unnoticed for long
On HAL
Big sell £2.80!
At 1.25;buy at 1.275
Again buys down as sells
LSE aren't very good for accurate prices. I'd go off your broker prices
HL is showing it same price 1.5 / 2. So they are showing it at the same price. No change. BUT. Like I was saying strangely the price when you go to buy is 1.5. Not 2 like you would expect. And when you buy it goes through as a sale. So all the buys go though at 1.5 which makes them all look like sales. Weird
if this down 15% today .then what happen to LSE .not showing .
spot on Midas down 15% today actually it's 1.50 at close I use shareprice.co.uk to get live prices don't enrol and its free . but even then it comes out with strange figures !!
Here it's quoting 2 to buy 1.5 sell. I can. Get buy for 1.37 on HL. What's up with this site
What I'm saying is the price is quoted here 1.5 / 2. And has been for quite a while. Yet most of the time and my last few trades while they were quoting that I managed to buy for 1.5 and 1.45 with that HL price improver thing. And they all went through as sales. Which they would look like if you did a trade at 1.5. Don't know where they get their prices from. I've tried to put in false sells and I can also get 1.5. So tiny spread unlike the huge spread they have here. A lot of these penny shares on here the prices quoted are way off mark.
Shares normally rise and fall on news!!
The ticker is HAL
One more thing to point out the. Rns never show here
So what I noticed this share only rise on news
I tried today to see what prices they gave. Couple of times it was 1.5 to buy and once 1.55 to buy tried to see what the sell would be got 1.5 and 1.48. So don't understand what the prices quoted here and other sites are all about as HL quoted the same as here but when you go to buy or sell it gave the quotes that I've just shown. Strange
Nope seem ok to take all shares at 1,50
