Your couple of weeks got trimmed down to a couple of days. All the best.
Yes.
Joe,
"Sometimes"? I only use IC as background reading about possible new investee companies I haven't come across before and then read up it the companies at all fit my requirements. Not long ago IC were forced to admit themselves after going through their own recommendations from the beginning of this year that they got it right less than 50% of the time. In other words a RANDOM SELECTION would do better.
SWLC, are you still in?
Sometimes it's better to follow your instincts, regardless of what the "professionals" say
Simon Thompson and lost money again.
IC subscription cancelled.
There's always regrets, but as you say a profit is a profit. You'll probably see 100 here soon
I thought you would wait until 90 as you said 90 minimum, anyway profit is profit :)
I pulled out a bit too soon at 85, maybe should have waited a bit longer. good luck
What a suprise, it may touch 90 before close.
By institutions, it seems to me.
Looking really good :)
Looking good
Hope it will test 80 today.

RNS out - Major shareholder increased holding!!
maybe some orders in the background as sell quotes are generous
Despite the warning about this year’s earnings, the company emphasised it had a strong order book and much of the slowdown was because of delays, rather than the market drying up. Some of the deferments were caused by what GYG called “an extraordinary sequence of hurricanes”.
Remy Millott, chief executive, added: “Despite the first half of the year being difficult for the group and the industry as a whole, we remain confident that the superyacht refit market is returning to normal trading patterns.
We've already seen that, last weeks news
Simon (IC) update last Thursday https://www.investorschronicle.co.uk/comment/2018/07/12/gyg-shares-hit-the-rocks/
I will be interested to see what Simon Thompson (IC) says on this.
I think he thought it was a steady upward progress with a 5% dividend like Strix, but I'm not so sure now.
For this to happen so soon after floating is insightful and somewhat worrying.
Remember it's not just the Hurricane, but also a number of significant bids that failed - which shows they either took their eye off the ball or it's tougher than you think. It may be a great buying opportunity, but I will stay on the sidelines
I'll go with that, at least 90 anyway
I think that it will settle around 90-100 range in the next couple of weeks.
