Look at Hargreaves Lansdiowne. Brokers are presently 7 out of 7 strong buy no other ratings. These are dirt cheap. Good div and amazing US tie up.
seems to be an unusually large amount of these each day in comparison to other shares I am invested in, anyone any ideas ?(I bought in early last week at just under £7 only to watch it fall to 6.30's as per normal ! looking for £9+ in 6 months)
4 million pound uncrossing buy deal. Joggers short of stock. Lot of big buy deals. Dirt cheap at present. Judtvbeen left 300 shares.
its like watching paint dry! wtf is going on today...
Let's see if this little rally continues. It makes sense, since I plumped for 888 instead - which is now falling.
Hi....thank you for your input....sold half my holding @ 679.50 ( Bought at 651.00)

The world seems to be hostile to gambling firms.
Looking at the recent trading period it looks like there's short-term trading going on. Buying the dips and selling any slight rally.
Why is the share price slipping away.......any news ???
Blimey the first posts on here since December 14th shame pn you.
Fairly muted response from the market. Berenberg reafirmed over £10 price and every analyst today held their buy calls. See what happens between now - March I suppose.
Great update & it will be interesting to see our progress in the US ,when our Finals are released in March & I will also be interested to see our strategy regarding retail closures as I reckon that many leases when they come to an end will not be renewed ,unless they are very profitable.
No idea.
4-hour chart looks very nice indeed. Should run up to the 50MA at 731 over the next few days, I think.
Especially the online business. Bought in at 680p. Broker targets all well over £10
Pension defecits and gambling are not natural bed fellows..but they soon will be.. California..take note
About rime you lot made a effort and talked about gvc !!!
When I was in Oz I came home to the UK with a pair of Blundies and a small soft toy platypus. KA comes back with another acquisition.
Wonder if that says anything about US developments?
Just to get back to the all time high of the other month (August) will take just under a near 50% rise from here.
- What odds on achieving that, would one of Kenny's betting sites offer me?
Possibly but the new tax and liability implications don't account for the fact that GVC has been in steady decline since the MGM deal was announced in July. THe quarterlies since then were pretty good too. Kenny A has been a very shrewd operatorr all the way from inception so I find this decline a bit puzzling. Maybe the Ladbroke deal was a bit of a poison chalice in retrospect but surely the MGM deal shoud be seriously valuable. Where's the update on that?
It could possibly be the realisation that gvc will still have to pay for the cvr's and that online tax increase may bite hard. With regards to the cvr's, i think the zero value only comes about if the £2 max stake is implemented before 28th march 2019. Now that the government have delayed this until october next year, does that mean gvc will have to settle cvrs at max value? Atb
Any idea why this is being hammered so much? I thought the FOTB reduction was factored into the ladbrokes purchase and dont increased tax implications only apply to uk profits?
Nice close 925, off the back of not 25%
You're quite right rfsh - my mistake.
Going to ride this out I think. Too good a company with major prospects still to dump. THough it would be nice to get some clarity on the Ladbroke's real estate. I'd like to see Kenny dump that sooner rather than later.
Seems a bit drastic. Surely tax would apply to uk punters only so wouldnt apply to anyone else?
Rumours of taxation on offshore gambling companies in upcoming budget. You can't get a bet on anyway - unless you're a mug.
