I would like to think so too, PJMI but my point remains that he`s been in the job now for 18 months, long enough I`d have thought for us to see some results of his `feverish activity` by now! It seems you`ve changed your mind since yesterday afternoon about the new government`s likely behaviour, under their new President, of sabotaging fastjet`s operations rather than seeing the South African Base Deal come to fruition. Let`s hope you`re now wrong on that.
I am pretty sure that Nico is feverishly busy, planning, organising and putting into action plans, but that his personal style is probably getting on with things and telling us when things have happened rather than things he hopes will happen. I think it is a high probability that whilst Government is greasing the wheels of Jambojet, they are throwing sand on the grease to slow things down when it comes to Fastjet.
Isn�t that maddening, fatherelmer. Nico and the new team is not really showing much sign of positive development is he, after over 18 months in his role? Hopefully lots in the pipeline behind the scenes, to give him the benefit of the doubt? If only we private investors were kept more informed. But as you said yourself on Wednesday, perhaps there is nothing worth reporting. All very worrying really.

How much more chance now that Zuma's gone in getting the South African Base Deal operational. I believe it was a SA share ownership percentage problem, maybe this event together with the recent open skies agreement (again) we can make some progress to expand.

eltonshango, the cynic in me would suggest that the lack of news is because there is nothing worth reporting, in respect of progress as they won't be making money (still) and their growth is now being stifled eg Kigoma, ATRs, the rumoured ERJ145 in Tanzania, etc
It is upsetting to see a good business model destroyed by lack of news, they need to tell the share holders about the progress.

People we will not invest in here until we reach breakeven and no news or update to the business sametime share is keep going down.

PJ , we don�t know the terms and conditions of the lease so like you say an update is needed , I�m hoping we not paying for ATR until we get it , I would have thought as Kigoma airfield not ready for E190 that it would be deployed sooner rather than later, having said that I would not want to see an ATR operating just three flights a week, perhaps it may end up in Mozambique where loads are consistently high.
