Doggo ..I can't believe anyone out with experience has not noted the technical part of the rise on Friday. .. it's spelling it out. ..big news dropped at any time after it will likely go into auction ,.a real struggle to buy at any price. ..the ending movement was typical of a monster rise in the first few minutes of Monday morning with news. ..of course the news did not come but it shows what the market is going to do. .. basically be out at your peril folks but don't start deramping because it's going to be your own fault. .. that's to all that sold today. ..
They struggle working out what the big and little hand is for on their watches let alone working the RNS generator
Thats a good point Doggo. Remember the Intensity news that was seen on RNS at Salv at 7am, our RNS for the same investment came intra day PM.
If you are banking on getting a RNS at 7am.... good luck! I have come to the opinion that news will be released at anytime...!
GLA LTHs
True..
There’s a lot of people aware of FFWD who aren’t holding. Each and everyone thinking they can jump the market when the SP moving news lands.
That’s impossible.. Quint proved that Friday, he sensed news could land and tried to buy £30k at lunchtime. He couldn’t do it. Other people had difficulty buying anything at close Friday.
On Friday we had a small taste of what is going to happen when big news dropped. ..look at the performance at end of day on Friday. ..it was saying get the news out after hours or Monday morning and we will treat you to at least another 50% on top on Monday. ..when there is a sentiment change that is when we need news to drop. ..no doubt some were expecting or hoping for great news and not before time.. ..juv and vemo could be first as doggo as acknowledged but how long is the point from here. ..that placing money or some of it needs invested pronto. ..no excuses with that but at least on Friday we had a taste of price action to come this year.
I have patience mat don’t worry about that hope others have to lol
it's building, just patience required.
Loads of F&@king patience.
Just a thought seller still here did we rise so seller could clear other wise we might of had to drop under 8p , I could be way off the mark but after the 1st trade today I thought here we go, once seller clear can only see this going one way , it’s sll coming together and the bits of news we get on here for me it gets better by the day
When JUV lists this year, I’ll wager our chunk will be worth more than FFWD current NAV on list day.
Obviously sellers today don’t read any RNS ever and just follow the last 4 trades. A few traders have taken a quick profit no worries they won’t be around for the rerate(s) to come.
I’m not going to mention Factom in this particular message just VEMO & JUV.
Vemo are due to close their PREMIUM raise...this will have a substantial & dramatic effect on NAV. We know this is now due. Juv series B part ii is going to raise a further $53 - 75 million. That’s 1p on the NAV that is 12p currently. We trade historically at 30% premium. The PF is now reaching a mid term maturity that wasn’t there a couple of years ago.

I take your point Paranoir. At the heart of the confusion is the fact that Factom inc shares the same name as one of the many ANOs helping to drive usage if the blockchain across the decentralised network. And it is the increased usage which will determine the Factom token price. So in a sense Factom inc. Owning Factom tokens will have a valuation based on traditional revenue based metrics and a notional value based on its Factom token valuation.
Well as have not long had electricity and an inside loo, so what chance have we got of understanding FACTOM!!!!!!!
Note that there were only 3 sales in the last 3 hours so perhaps the penny has clicked re selling your holding.
If it stays at this price we have a nice % rise since Thursday. Level off here and the next jump could be 13p before dropping to 11p then up to 15p.Etc. Well in theory.
Hi Paranoir,
We support it. We just don't pay attention to it in here because it's complicated and your average AIM punter struggles to keep up with FFWD news as it is.
Nothing against FCT in fact I'm pretty sure Factom have just released an explainer video for those of us struggling to grasp it.
Reddit is probably the best place to discuss it. It's were all the cool kids hang out.
Chazzy, you got one side of the coin. Factom Inc has a traditional SAAS model that doesn't depend on its public Factom blockchain (at least not directly) as well as a non-traditional model considering they are part of a decentralized network of companies running the public Factom blockchain. And owning a huge portion of FCTs.
In that sense, Factom Inc's true potential will only be achieved with proper SAAS growth + the success of its public blockchain. So in that sense a $1000 FCT price would mean Factom Inc is also worth multi billions.
So if you're sold on Factom Inc you should also be supporting the public Factom blockchain, otherwise you're missing on big potential returns.
thats an interesting point Paranoir and most of us disregard the value of FCT that is being held by FACTOM.
Paranoir, you've got the tail wagging the dog. Factom inc future prosperity depends on it implementing its SaaS, not the Factom price. The factom price will increase as demand for its service increases, but the actual Factom price is unimportant. Factom inc. has a traditional business model, revenue driven based on sales of its SaaS.
Think most selling at 10.2 must be selling at a loss, if they wanted to sell why not sell last week when 10% higher or earlier today. It is panic selling. Majority of sales are small quantities the clever ones selling 50k plus did so first thing to buy back later. Doubt if the small quantity sellers will buy back in, unless there is very good news and they buy back in at a much higher price.
Whatever, we just have to sit back and wait for the RNS's to give us a boost. if we get back to 9p the buyers should return, including us when there should be more funds are available for us to invest. So it could be a hidden bonus this fall.
Paranoir looks to be on the correct track. Have to wait until the informed ones on here comment.
We will hold firm and hope to make a good profit eventually by selling parts of our holding, we have not got a clue at what price that will be, 25p 50p £1 £2 who knows, but at each drop through profit takers, as the stock goes up we will add.
There are a number of investments in the portfolio that can make us money, so until most are either sold, IPO etc we will stay. We did forcast a drop to 10.5p but hoped that would attract buyers, which it has not.
I hold both, considerably more FFWD though as I feel more confident when factom is hedged by the rest of the FFWD portfolio. Plus if your inveted in inc you don't need to worry about the the old public/private chain debate.
Doggie will be along shortly to put you straight.
That's absolutely incorrect. Factom Inc owns a lot of FCT and this FCT is considered Capital in the company. They are not selling them, they are holding them. Hence a 1000$ FCT price would mean Factom the company is now worth a LOT more since you can multiply their number of coins times the price to get the market value.
So we would have a much higher rise in the value of FFWD if we had a big FCT price rather than x5 revenues of Factom Inc. You need to understand that to know the importance of the price of FCT on the valuation of FFWD.
Note that also currently 60% of the Grant Pool of FCT goes to Factom Inc for the development work they are doing.
So I would hold both if I believe in Factom Inc and FFWD.
There is the old adage that when a share drops 10% get out, with this 5% should have signaled retreat.
Was hoping people would keep their stock, we could have taken a small profit and bought back in. Perhaps it is us who are silly not doing it, However when ever we tried this with other stocks it went wrong because as soon as we sold, up went the price.
Just hope we do not go back to 9p again. But if we do then we would buy more
FOMO kicked in on Friday as people saw it flying and assumed 'news leak' as they always do.
As soon as now 7am RNS, the day's movements could be easily predicted imo.
Will be tough to hold gains here until substantive newsflow.
Wish everyone well :)
All that glitters ...you bought in at around 9p. .. trading opportunity for a trader. Lol ..I bet you sold some or all your shares. .. nothing wrong with that but trading has caused the drop today.
I meant not there own holding by selling for a small profit. ..predictive text lol
