I wish I'd have pulled out by now, kicking myself. Was slow off the mark and ignored this share in my portfolio stupidly. Don't think I can bring myself to cut my losses now, it may not have bottomed out but it will rise back in the medium term.................just means me holding the share longer than I'd intended
I feel this stock is still feeling the shock waves of the mining sector which continues on a downward spiral, also my original concern was of the II's getting back in and then a big Sell of 2.5 m shortly after, I must assume they have more info than we do, I am pleased I took my own advice and pulled out at 1.59 albeit I am still considerably in the red.
Been on my watch list for a while now. Time for a first bite. GLA
I think the Vultures are circling. See recent declarations.
IIs bought 3mill 9th Sept / Sold 2.5 mill 27th Sept that tells another story
...from Rubber & Plastics News... ....visions of Les Dawson puckering his lips as Cosmo Smallpiece & exclaiming... "Knickers, knackers, knockers" :-D http://www.rubbernews.com/article/20151020/NEWS/310199997/fenner-initiates-restructuring-cuts
'Still haven't added as yet, couple of weeks until the Finals so 'may just watch from the dark shadows of Voyeur alley...
..due in the second week of November... ...Last Trading update in July said... "'the recent developments in ECS's businesses will result in full year Group earnings, after recognising a lower tax rate, being slightly below previous management expectations." The Final Dividend may well be cut but they do have a good divi' history... http://www.stockopedia.com/share-prices/fenner-LON:FENR/dividends/ Seems fair value at 160p & has just bounced a little!
....Sold them 162.7p shares at 176.1p on 10/09/15 for an 11% profit (inc' Banked Dividends). So 'may well come back in again at this sort of price ;-)
weir group got whacked as well. Not specific to Fenner.
Surprised to see a sudden drop of 6%
It's good to see RWC fund managers buying 3 million more shares, which gives me more confidence than what is conveyed on brokers ratings. Talk is cheap, but when someone puts money where their mouth is, then that really matters.

...here today... 200 shares at sub 186p for my "HOT DUCKS 2" Dividend Portfolio... http://www.lse.co.uk/general-chat-discussion.asp?page=24&TopCode=IL4FQ6DR 'May well add if she nudges lower... GLA & Best Regards, Blue
...tomorrow... & Panmure Gordon issues a Sell rating today... PG forecast now = 155p But they have been bearish of late with FENR
With a strengthening US dollar, and poor sentiment in any mining related company, is this a good takeover target for a US private equity firm or a company peer ?
Yup! Still on my watchlist...180p looking possible...maybe lower
so Jolly hopeful
Not with the trend downwards and comments like this in the RNS. "As a consequence of the above, the Group anticipates achieving underlying earnings per share for the year moderately below expectations." This needs a long while to turn, but with half the company performing all they have to address is the poor market conditions in the other.
Fenner is a winner! Buy the blood! http://pinkerspost.com/?p=645
Certainly does, steady climb back
looks like like that was the bottom
supported by directors dealing. I'm in .....
