Hello all, just out of interest how do we know a TU is due at the start of December? Looking back at the history of RNS I only see one TU in December in the past which was 2020, unless if I’ve missed something?
TU is certain to be good imo, especially with a lot of things being out of stock. I am certainly interested in buying more EVE before the trading update, so how exactly is it likely to be coming in December?
Thanks in advance
Geeman mate, a TU by next week will be just fine. I just hope they don’t include any caveats again.
As long as we get a TU by next week the SP should hold where it is until the TU is announced. Our problem will be if no TU until January. I expect the SP to start drifting up after TU announcement, unless they just hit us with it and then the SP will shoot either direction based on what is said. GLTA.
My take would be that they would probably RNS strong sales. They'd be proud and want to tell all.
Quiet / nothing from them would imply 'expected sales', so not necessarily bad news.
Could even be next week with the day difference compared to 2020.
AKI, thanks for that - if true we should be getting a TU this week.
I have emailed them. Snippets of the response:
The precise timing of our next trading update is yet to be confirmed or announced in the required way through the LSE.
...but we do typically issue an end of year trading update and it is reasonable to expect us to do so again this year.
hope this helps.
It’s all just guess work it would seem then?
I will go for EVE SP eventually getting to 20p then!
Not saying I told you guys so....or am I....
It will come good but not yet.
Needs to close off IMO somewhere circa 2.3/2.5 regions first.
Then....... it should be a reverse trend.
Sometimes.... the story needs to take the path it’s led down.
A healthy return is on its way but not until.....
That’s what I see
Gl all eventually...unb1
Looks like is in danger of breaking the very strong support at 2.80/3.0p on low volume - slow bleed due to lack of buyers.
IMO, if we get no news until next year then the SP in all likelihood will sink to low 2p or less. Senseless!
I hope they issue a TU in the next day or two like they did last year … and I hope the TU is without caveats.
Why some shareholders are selling is beyond me! I wonder is there some skullduggery at work, especially at the small uneconomically trading that goes on and which the SP seems to react to! And then with a few big purchases for example the SP does not move!
I just wonder how EVE is fixed to protecting itself from a low takeover bid - hence my rationale to suggest EVE try a share buyback at such low SP as the turnaround seems to be going ok - very good TP reviews in general here too.
This little company are in a position to go places but as always DYOR.
2.60p at the bid? Ouch!!!!!!
We need a TU prompto.
