It is now Highside. Two part timers in Myles and Daniel running EUZ.
I am lost for words as to how they actually have started DY6Metals and have no value to show for EUZ shareholders. It no doubt will be wound up imho but still fail to see how this will get back to R6.50 when we consolidated as its now 25c on JSE and still over valued in my opinion.
In fairness Bricks it wasnt always a lifestyle company.
I think we all knew when it went (effectively) bust and was left with no choice but to consolidate or get licked off the aim that it was going to take a miracle. Up till that point most lived in hope :-)
I sold up once i realised (rather late :-) ) that they had pegged the future on acquiring another asset and as you mentioned, would probably need to cash in the 20% to do that. The problem there is the likely buyer would be the people that owned the 80% so little point in them trying to get the SP up until they owned 100%.
That said i'm sure there will be a small return because the company is uninvestable under this management so i doubt MC would bother now to look for another asset, might just as well wind it up. The driving force was probably LR and he could see the writing on the wall.
Yes hopefully news soon but one needs to be very careful here as it could be good or bad. We already know Denerius will own 80% of Toral if mining license is approved. The remaining 20% will be owned by EUZ who unfortunately will then have to find another asset to explore….no doubt the 20% will be sold off to fund the new exploration…..so how can this be a strong buy even if a mining license comes through ? And how do investors actually get there money back on a lifestyle company like EUZ ?
News due
They raised between £10m and £12m and have a company worth less than £1.5m
They didnt keep the money you invested, they spent it so the chances of any LTH ever getting his money back is miniscule now.
The problem here was their own incentive payments were obviously not high enough to incentivise themselves . :-) Just look at the SP ....they certainly didnt incentivise the investors :-)
No, I just don't want them keeping the money I invested. I'm more than happy to take back what I put in and call it quits. I wouldn't go near AIM these days.
Redmoor, If you were getting £100k a year would you want to wrap the project up ?
I've been in this share for a long, long time. Years ago, our Bod stated there was no need to drill anymore holes as we already had a large number of cores for evaluation of the asset. After that, more drilling took place. Our Bod have had a large amount of time and money to prove themselves. What have they done? You can have the best asset on the planet but with lifestyle management, it means nothing in my opinion.

Ah, lets be realistic ?
Well there's a first time for everything :-)
Being realistic we did our money here yonks ago. Its been damage limitation since the consolidation. As a "grown up company" we have gone backwards, at least we could dare to dream a couple of years ago, who's dreaming now and who is having a nightmare ?
Let's be realistic - no major construction project happens without environmentalists expressing concerns, as is their democratic right. We have the backing of the authorities as evidenced by the acceptance of the MLA which allows the IP to run during the period of consideration. The MLA included all the necessary environmental studies, if it didn't it wouldn't have been accepted. Man made scars on the landscape such as the quarries that the Mayors want us to infill frequently create an opportunity for nature to find a way, look at central reservations on motorways all the way through to species that thrived following Chernobyl. It did amuse me that they cited Las Médulas as a site that could be threatened by the development of Toral, really? That was a mine itself exploited by a method known as 'ruina montium' where hydraulic systems basically dissolved the landscape. We're proposing MCAF underground mining where everything can be restored after the LOM. I also don't think that the argument that our mine might compromise 'hunting' is particularly cogent with claimed concerns over the local fauna :)
There is a lot of potential good news to come:
ML granted
Increased Resources
PEA
Increased mining area
I will be buying more if the SP stays at this level.
A little back hander in government don’t go a miss if they get mining license the environmentalists will soon get lost but its not great when they get involved I did translate some of the comments after reading it and they didn’t care too much. Lol
If the environmentalists get involved who knows where this will go. The only sure thing would be it will take years of hearings, reviews, re assessments and probably legal cases to settle. Bad news for those still trying to get something back, great news for the BOD who would get several more years income out of this.
Personally i would like to see a financial report/assessment of the last 5 years or Toral to include total renumeration for the BOD and staff,, total income from placings etc and why after the deal with Denarious ,the market cap here is £1.5m ?
Come on MC, it cant be that difficult.
It csnnot be long now before we get approval for the mining licence and also receive s resource update. Interesting times.

A mining licence and a resource update. Is that to much to ask for. How much longer can this possibly take. Ive seen granite boulders move faster.
So yesterday Denarius posted. On the 1st line "we anticipate a series of upcoming catalysts including a resource update for Toral"
Will this good news for us? Will this help move the SP upwards? I have no idea I'm a fire alarm installer, maybe one day I may get some money back.
Good luck us!!!!
The accounts are prepared in Perth AUS and as such "All amounts are presented in Australian dollars, unless otherwise stated", always have been. Basic salary $154,853 in 2022, and contracted for £112,000 / $200,473 in 2023 I guess to reflect becoming Interim CEO in Feb 2022. Note that they had already implemented the salary sacrifice scheme in Jan 2022 (50% deferred or accrued through shares).
In the accounts it says Salary $154,853 which is £115,000 therefor the figures i quoted in my post were in USD ie $229k USD
If you think they are in AUS $ then 154, 853 would be £77,600
Oh get over yourself. You are wrong, you don't have to admit it but maybe just shut up about it ?
