I have finally come up with a theory to explain the recent s.p fluctuations (could be total b.s).
A major holder could have very recently offloaded £80k + worth of shares that they bought at rock bottom price and now be in a situation where they have nearly covered their initial investment .
By accumulating and then selling 100M shares at a time they could be basically trading just under the 1% threshold which would require them to fill in a Tr1.
Just a theory

Shed - I agree that they probably don't need the money (assuming all outstanding actions undertaken) but if EUZ were approached with an offer via a discounted placing for a bit of cash to help keep the lights on for a bit longer, would they take it?
RNS 11th March
Outlook for 2019:
Subject to funding, the Company's plans for the Toral Project in 2019, include:
· An infill drilling campaign to target the high-grade core of the deposit, with the aim of increasing confidence in the resource estimate to the JORC (2012) Indicated category. COMPLETED DRILLING CAMPAIGN. AWAITING JORC UPDATE
· Completion of the first metallurgical test work programme on the project to provide PFS level results on comminution, flotation and concentrate grade. ONGOING
· Commencement of environmental studies, which will be ongoing across the seasons. ONGOING - 30 DAY PERIOD ENDS NEXT WEEK
· Commencement of hydrogeological characterisation of the Toral Project. NOT MENTIONED IN RECENT UPDATES
Manabout I'm not looking for a bust up, they never work out on here and you get nowhere, so could I politely ask why yesterday you couldn't wait to share news of your buys ("Another 17 million for me had to pay .046 after picking up the last few available at .0447 and .455") and today, already down on your buys you are talking about a mystery entity building a short position and suggesting a discounted placing is coming? Seems a bit masochistic to me.... In any case if I was EUZ and needed money they'd surely wait, release the imminent results, and then have an equity raise at a premium.
I agree Binky.
A major holder accumulating stock in the background would explain a lot.
I'm banging on about Tr1's lately and I'm still hoping for one stating that certain players have increased their holding.

It’s just punters selling and buying small amounts, conspiracy theories abound. Wouldn’t bother getting upset over this nonsense, see you on the other side of a multi bagger have great w/e bring on the results.
No need for a placing - finished drilling - awaiting results - selling.
Down another 11%
On what?
0.0411! Come on really ffs
I expect we'll push on later today in anticipation of news next week. After 023D completion I felt we might be going into a news blackout until all results were in but the Linkedln comms yesterday suggests they're keen to keep the story manifest. Also I'm not sure they can sit on price-sensitive results just because the entire package isn't complete. Bit of a grey area.
At least dick Turpin wore a mask !!!!! ..gla
Dick Turpin at work. Cheats
I'll choose my words carefully...
The share price could be being 'artficially' supressed by the offer of a placing from one of our other larger shareholders; DB et al in order to build a larger stake. This could actually be seen as a postive if they 'know' more than we do. I'm not averse to a placing as long as it is only enough to buy a 'For Sale' sign.
4little trades and 4% down don’t make sense
Hi Oiltap ,
Thanks very much for the reply.
As you know I’m quite new here. I have held mining stocks before and still hold MAFL who are in Portugal. It seems very easy for these miners to kick the can down the road , announce more drilling and fund raise. I’m hoping EUZ are different, although I’m sure that’s what they have done in the past or there would not be 12 billion shares in issue. It’s a difficult one , if the drilling is complete they can’t just sit on their hands and wait for a ‘Glencore’ to come in, so what could they do .
I hope you are right about DB being in for the sale , they would probably have some inside information.
The 100 million trades are intriguing , are they sells or buys , I suspect sells after the recent rises but I’m not sure. Could there be more to come .. possibly.
Warrant conversion could hold the price down for a while ,
Just thinking out loud.
Thanks again .
I'm convinced they're done and they've (almost) said as much. I suspect they haven't declared it officially as to do so might weaken a bargaining position. It makes sense to have a plan b even if it's not the preferred route.
Sorry M that looks a bit sarcastic on the page - just a bit of fun - #keeptheEUZpagenice
Oiltap
Hi is my understanding correct that all the drilling is now finished and there’s no plans to do anymore and then it’s about updating the JORC and we are good to go for a sale of the asset ?
Thanks in advance .
Thanks Manabout I hope everyone's feeling as blessed as me :) Could you also explain how to get Steve Smith out to the 'less aware', ie. Joe Root.
Morning All. Could it be IIs buying and TR1 today or Monday? Looks buy to me or the sp would have tanked yesterday as MM knew if it was a sale from earlier!!! Let’s hope another 5-10% blue finish today.
It’s virtually the same as the previous day and the price rose on the back of that so Wednesdays late trade seemed a buy, I presume this is also, as I can’t imagine you getting that price for that amount, whereas a buy could be put together throughout the day, makes more sense. If they were both buys, both days and both last minute trades, someone must be feeling confident and have an inside track perhaps on a little news or a very decent gut feeling, GLA.
Isn't it 'unknown' because it's bang on the mid-orice and therefore cannot be identified as a buy or sell?
I have never seen a last minute large trade as 'unknown'. Is it a crossover trade?
100,000,000 Unknown* 46.00k
ANY.......doh.
On LSE the time for that 100mil trade is shown as 14:29:06 but, there is nothing shown on the HL site for that time or, indeed, for the entire day. I looked at the trade volumes through the day on my charting software and couldn't see anything of that size for ant time so, perhaps it's a number of trades bundled up.
We finished blue on the day 'cos of me so, you can rule that one out {:-))
Doesn’t matter what it was... it’s in the price for the day
Could well be a buy as we finished blue
