Jim,
I'm happy to do my bit but before we're taxed to death / have anymore forced upon us the world needs to stop cutting down / burning the blooming rainforests
Total joke,
Anyway that's my rant for today!
Derek & all
Hey I’ve been out with a few Nags but never been named one. Ha ha
Rums & Nosebag all Round
Buy an EV because the battery will be made from our Nickel.
Wow, you're flying the flag for electric vehicles without knowing how the electricity is produced, along with the disposal of wind turbines (literally buried full size) and batteries.
Then you have to get all personal, lol.
If you want to know, ask your mrs
PWLX, I don't buy this 'CO2 is responsible for global warming' bull****! Especially, as electric cars are being FORCED on us! Chemical, river and human pollution is bad, CO2? Plants love it!
So, while I can still drive a car powered by dead dinosaurs, I will enjoy as long as possible, cos in a few decades, the ******s in charge will make it illegal...
GLA!
Postman Porsche what do you think of the 996?
Derek,
Blimey! You must be doing well, never again for me!
It's cheaper to run that Porsche!
Depends on the sale divi but if its £2 or more a nice 3 bed town house in a place called Tilisvi in Zante
A new enamelling kiln and a rolling mill for my silversmithing business
I am involved in 3 already and doing well
Derek,
Whatever you do DO NOT buy a horse,
The vets bills are next level!
A few of us are going to buy a Racehorse together may call it the Tillywhiz
:’) What a small todger you must have onthebwagon…
I think most of us are pretty realistic regarding the potential dividend, but have an imagination of what we would like to do with it, nothing wrong with that.
A top spec electric bike for me, new workshop tools and various lovely kinds of timber for decorative woodwork projects including some guitars I'm working on. Some set aside, some gifts to charity. All after a long and luxurious holiday, three and a bit years since my last which feels like about ten...
I hope we get an early RNS this week as avoiding permanent sharewatching will be quite difficult
Ohmni,
The Palladium coin is a good shout, I will probably get 1 or maybe Platinium depending on the divi/final result.
My first really big winner was with BP many many years ago and I still have a collection of BP paperweights which I gathered over the years, some being quite valuable.
It's nice to have something to remember those days rather than just a pure "treat" item!
Pwlx, people can choose what car they want with any dividend. And just because you're pushing for electric vehicles, I'll buy myself two petrol V8's.
If you think electric vehicles are environmentally friendly, I suggest you brush up on your research
Kayak Speed :-)
New kayek - £200. Ha ha
- no environmental issues - keeps you fit - costs nothing to run - zero traffic jams & you can see this superb country from the beauty of the Water while supping Rum as no ‘ drinking & Canoeing ‘ misery’s
Rums all Round
Postman Porsche, it’s going to be my hobby car. Out on sunny days for a drive round. After trying it I was smitten. :-)
Would love a camper van :-)
i8 is a great compromise being hybrid I deffo have one of those
A quick Google tells me the Porsche Taycan is electric…
Forgive me for being an environmentalist, but I’d love to dive in with the suggestion that anyone considering buying a fast car with dividend income puts their money into an electric car instead, for the sake of not burning fossil fuels while you’re enjoying it. A BMW i8 or a Tesla would probably be as fast if not faster, certainly in terms of acceleration, and mean you aren’t using your ESG friendly mining dividend on something very un-environmentally friendly.
Maybe Porsche have an electric model coming out soon? I’m not familiar with the range but worth a look…
Bellers:GT4s are a bit hardcore. Are you intending doing track days?
Ratboy1971: I bought my first 911 when I was 51. 60 now.
