Pub group Enterprise Inns has repaid 800m of debt. Bank borrowings of 545m are comfortably below banking facilities and the rest of the 3.1bn of debt is in the form of long-term instruments raising no concerns for now. Enterprise is well along the way of sorting out its bottom-end pubs, with about 700 still to be sold or upgraded, or 10% of the estate. The shares trade on less than four times this years earnings. Without any certainty over the dividend, there seems no obvious reason for any sharp recovery, says the Times.

Enterprise Inns (ETI) posted narrowed interim pre-tax profits, impacted by a 9% reduction in the average number of pubs in its portfolio and higher leasehold costs, but said it expects to deliver results for the full year in line with its expectations. The pub operator reported a pre-tax profit of 61 million pounds for the half-year ended 31st March 2011, down from 86 million pounds on the comparable period a year earlier, as revenue fell 7% to 346 million pounds. Shares in Enterprise Inns dropped 3.2p to 85.3p
Coming back to meet up with Pub by the looks iof it

Alright mate, yeh still watch wen I get the chance. Looks like the stoch is well oversold. Havnt looked at a chart recently. Will have a butchers tomoz. U still in?

not sure if you still watch mate but there's a chance this little downtrend could has bottomed out today, we'll see tomorrow!
fair enough mate, can't win em all, i am sticking around for a bit longer, we'll see, i have made money here before. Sorry if you got in purely on the back of my chart! Glad about MEC tho :)
hi, left u a msg on AU. im outta here lol. it broke the very short term trend at 120.3pish so sold up. only took a £100 loss which has be smoked by my mec and char trades yesterday so all is well. tempted to get back in but might see how it plays out
hmm bit of a dodgy day today, if it re-enters the wedge i am out but we are ok atm, hopefully it will just re-test it and move on, anyway others going well atleast lol
Best share in the world this, i suggest people should get in while they can..........lol maybe not. Nice little push today though!
can u show where u are getting major 129 resistance from? thanks
cummon. im gunna ramp this on my own lol
rekon this could be a slow and steady burner!
Nope not much volume but then thats why i am waited for secondary break for a bit of extra comfort, not expecting it to burst like NOP really. Yep NOP going well also got BEM at 24 a few weeks back, nice start to the year!
Boring share.
Some major diagonal resistance at 129 ish. The breakout hasn't been done with much conviction i.e no volume. Not convinced about a decent return on this one, but what do I know! NOP going well though!

could u post your chart mate? cheers
Seems dead here but just in case lol, i believe we have recently broken out a long term decending wedge pattern, and furthermore have today broken out of the mini channel that developed immediately after this breakout, hoping for a good run here from now. Probably talking to myself here so wont post the chart lol but anyone can let me know if they want more info, gl ;)
Latest Company Report just Out: 5% decline in like-for-like net income per pub, Ebitda (before exceptional items) down from £450m to £405m Profit before tax (and exceptional items) of £175m, down from £208m the year before. But the CEO took a 51% Earnings INCREASE and other Board members similar (or even greater) - WTF
Strong cash balances, pub trade is turning around, world cup will have swelled takings. From talking to several landlords whilst drinking a few pints (all in the interest of research you understand) I'm expecting very positive things for their company report.
Sadly the latest fatality of Enterprise Inns failings, this time prompting comments by a serving MP calling for the CEO to resign - I see rocky times ahead... (Would love to think Archipelago). http://www.morningadvertiser.co.uk/news.ma/article/88534?PagingData=Po_0%7EPs_10%7EPsd_Asc
