I should have put a figure in my last post. It is a year since EQN floated and the value of my holding has risen over 67% in that year. I have also received dividends, and taken out 4004 pounds in profit, as I take 1000 pounds, every time my holding rises above 21000 pounds. That is an amazing performance.
What will the price be after the issue at 190p? I think the price must drop but I still don't see us under 300p for long. This is some, well run company and I trust the management. Still the best performing share in my portfolio.
It matters not as they finished all the way back at 300p
First time I've looked at this but from what I can see, isn't it the rights issue fund raising which has diluted the share by circa 20% so a drop was bound to happen, tempered by the accusation they raised funds for. I stand to be corrected by any regulars here thought. Thanks.
Is this madness based entirely on the change of company Chairman? It seems to be an overreaction if so......
This fall in share price has surprised me. Perhaps it is the Rights Issue. I was so sure we would see £3 per share soon. I think the price will recover sooner rather than later. Such a soundly based company still expanding from that sound base. Hang on in there!
Proposed acquisition of Wells Fargo Shareowner Services and 3 for 14 Rights Issue of 64,309,150 New Shares at 190p per New Share
Why is there such a deep discount on the rights issue? Circa -30% discount to current market price and 21% dilution.
The Rights Issue will be discussed at a meeting on the 28th Sept. Back over £3. The shares will be discounted to £1.90 compared to the current price of £3.04. The issue will take place on 29th Sept. If they are offered to me I shall buy every offered share. Although this will be a 21% dilution the purchased assets make up for this in my opinion and I would not expect more than a temporary drop. Plus, on 26th Oct we get a dividend of 1.75p per share or 0.6% at the current price.
It won't be long under three pounds now. A week?
Again we end the week on a new high. This time through the £3 gals ceiling. In my head that is above 80% up in under a year. A growing dividend yield is icing on the cake. It is hard to see any downside.
This share looks good for good times and bad .it recovered well from the surprise dip . Looks like it's got new legs now for an all time high .

It's probably due to the planned rights issue to fund the Wells Fargo deal. I for one will be topping up.
It seems that even Trumpeting for war cannot permanently affect this share price. Lets hope I don't have to eat these words on Monday...
Wow! Equiniti has had a splendid first year on the market. I bought, as an ordinary private investor, on the IPO and am summarising what my £12089.18 holding has done since. The share price has risen from about 164p to about 270p giving me a profit of 52% including automatic reinvestment of dividends. Some time ago I crossed the £20,000 holding which is where I start to cream off profits into other shares and cease to reinvest dividends. I have already creamed 3 batches of £1000, though I am now down to 18,400 so it will be some time before I eat more cream. I bought because I loved the history behind the company, now I realise just how good it is today.
Yes Holycustard, totally overdone
Me too, frankw. Topped up at 261p. Don't see the justification for an 8% sell off, myself, but wtfdik???
Bought in at 262. Should see a nice bounce.
"We are pleased that Equiniti's strategy of deep specialisms in regulated markets continues to generate underlying earnings growth and shareholder value. Our market leading positions are a foundation for further defensive revenue growth, whilst the quality of our people and platforms provide continuing margin progression."

Interim results on 27th July and rights issue sometime in September.
I have nothing to say and pretty limited as an employee of the co.
The Phantom of Equiniti is here! Now I really am terrified, I assumed nobody was listening!
I am a lurker, you're not here alone.
