Having gone over this before I don't really see the point in saying it again but here goes.
The negativity that has surrounded the stock was about the mine not being handed over ,and this has gone on for the last year.
The company has now done that so that is a big positive in my mind and has probably been the main factor before they can move on to other things.
Now without that as a distraction they can get on with the transition which is why I'm guessing Tony has bought into in the first place .
All I would say at this stage is that if nothing has happened within the next few months then you may well want to carry on with the negativity ,until then perhaps keep an open mind that they may actually turn a dog into a racehorse!!
Well it's the one we were meant to be waiting for... what did I miss?
:)))
Is that the only positive you can find, the mine handed over circa 16 months late?
Sausage, have to say, I actually feel quote optimistic on this now. Not happy with my current average (may have the opp to address that shortly as am 60% down) but on likelihood of progress from now on...
The mine is handed over. We can now focus on other things (whatever they are). And we should still have Tony's million.
Ignoring the market today, at least we have been relatively stable recently volume-wise (even if the price is bouncing around).

Ok, so tell us the facts that should cheer us up. Not the jam tomorrow but the facts
Over to you?
Just dont see why you have to be so negative all the time? its boring like the stock
Before it was all about the mine handover...they have now done that so give them a chance perhaps ?
It's not for me to give you something worth reading, that's Edenville's job I'm afraid
The FTSE 250 is down 2.33%
EDL are down 2.33% for what its worth
Sure we can all see our investment has gone easier
Would be nice to have something worth reading than telling me our stock is down when the whole market is taking a hit on a potential war
We need news now on the acquisition not jam tomorrow statements.
Down we go again
Where do I think they are heading? Now that they have handed over the mine and with it the costs involved, it will really depend on their next move. If they choose the correct acquisition in the correct market sector then things could be positive if completed in the short term. Remembering it's been 10 months since Tony Buckingham's money was announced.
If this acquisition goes on for month after month after month, and/or they pick the wrong company in the wrong market sector then Edenville could end up in the wilderness for many years. And with that the ability to raise funds time and time again deleting and diluting this company.
Continued silence is not good for the share price as Edenville as always been a news driven share. We cannot go month after month after month with no news, only to get an RNS full of jam tomorrow
Edenville needs to start making a profit and by that I mean revenue that covers all the costs with a little bit left at the end.
I know it's been said before that it's make or break time for Edenville, but now the mine has been handed over it really is make or break time for Edenville. They need to make a break from the past, from coal, and into a sector such as lithium.
Time will tell but I hope the silence doesn't go on for too much longer. GLA
EDL when will the new boys publish there production and profits to EDL
Three monthly or monthly that is the question but not waiting with holding breath
Where do you think EDL is heading sausage ?
Buy EdL and say bye to your hard earned cash !
When was the last time that happened?
I predicted 22p, and we sit at 21.5p. Enough said.
It's been over 9 months since Tony invested. The only thing I can think of is that they wanted shot of the mine before they got on with the acquisition. Time will tell.
If new coal operator is using same machinery and people, will be interesting to see if they can get 3000 tonnes a month out of it
So negative
Unless your selling yours the stock didn't move when we had a fall out a few weeks ago! The handover that everyone seemed to be frustrated with and caused a lot of the negativity has now been done .
No major holders have sold wonder why ?
You can talk it down as much as you like but it doesn't seem to have any affect
I hate predictive text!!!!!!
We've dropped through 22p, so my prediction if we have to wait another 2 months for an operational update we will be at 18p
Understand negative sentiment here as it's just ploughed on and on, but the handover was the final step in all that progress they announced two years ago, so hopefully we can start selling the asset and bringing in some revenue. Until we start seeing how much coal they can shift, I can't see the price really reflecting the "success" but if the numbers are encouraging, we should in theory see the price align a little closer with the asset value.
And then we have the exciting bits, for which I will hold:
1. I still want to know what Tony B was investing his million pounds in as I don't believe it was coal.
2. I would like to know why NvS was brought in.
A little more waiting for me as I don't think they are quite done with sharing what they have been up to. Hopefully!
Good weekends all...
My money will go from OEX to AEX.
Think CGO are going to rise like Ben's Creek.Bens looks great as well still plenty of growth.
This has been an absolute joke and scam of a share.
Bens Creek , no messing about ! I’ve lost thousands with EDL over the years ! Nothing but a scam share
Try CGO Sausuage.A proper coal miner
A few weeks ago this bb was saying no mine hand over blah blah now they have done it still the negativity
Having been in this for so long it seems a bit silly to say im now going to exit when things are finally starting to happen !
I have been in this for a few years and i certainly wont be selling this is our year
They have clearly needed to get the mine handover out of the way first before the next stage of development
