Set in the Disney parks area, the show’s curriculum is based around educating children about science, technology and space travel. Each episode will have two stories of 11 minutes each that will take kids on a ride to a new world to drive their interest in the universe, mathematics, language skills and the importance of family bonding. DQE group founder and CEO Tapaas Chakravarti said, “We are thrilled to embark on production of this exciting new Disney series with Wild Canary, USA. We expect that the collaborative skills of both Wild Canary’s and DQ Entertainment’s high quality CGI animation resources will result in a world-class series that will attract young audiences across the Globe.” According to industry sources the deal should bring in an incremental business of about $5-7 million for the company. Wild Canary Animation president and co-founder Richard Marlis said “When my partner Carmen Italia and I opened Wild Canary over 6 years ago, we envisioned becoming a global company. We could not have a better partner than DQ Entertainment to move forward with this new venture. DQ Entertainment’s structure and parallel CGI pipeline to ours was an important ingredient in choosing an overseas animation partner. Tapaas and his staff embraced Miles and delivered a great pilot. We look forward to a long standing relationship with them, both for this series and future projects.” The series will air on Disney Junior channels across the world.
I will wax and polish upstairs tomorrow….who needs charting? just need a posse of floor scrubbers
Now come on, I am knackered after wheel barrowing and stacking that load of wood and we have only moved .5p I will wax and polish a couple of floors then
Are we picking up on expectation of a solid quarter to December? I appreciate that we are undervalued - should be more like 33p in my eyes.
If I come and hep, will it get to 25p?!
I am going to stack a load of wood. I hope for 22p SP when i get back!
I wouldn't pay too much attention to the PE of this company, because the declared profits never transpire as cash on the balance sheet. I've been in since 38p (and many times at lower amounts since) and it's always seemed cheap - it's impossible to stay. I remain a holder regardless because they feel cheap, and because I really like their strategy. Using open IP to create easily sold kids TV content at a low cost, then farming out merchandising rights for a small cut. It's ingenius. But if this company is going to ever properly re-rate, they need a half decent adviser/publicist in the UK. The last RNS was mostly incomprehensible figures, and the use of crores as a measurement for a UK audience was moronic.
Current sp is only 1.5 times last year's profit after tax! That is crackers!
Sold 10k @ 19.6p ... dunno + don't care ... I'm not a believer ... GLA
I should switch off and clean the floor more often! It was primed on Friday, clearly the MMs have no or little stock, not surprising when 80% of the stock is held by management and II over the 3% threshold. Bet there is a load more holding at less than the 3% threshold. Still operating on a PE of 3 ish….very very cheap and under valued company
cheap as chips and only 20% of the shares are in free float. we also know that two II bought a bunch of stock around September time…there is very little stock out there and the company is grossly under valued. one day value will out. just got to be patient
Oh wow, it's suddenly flavour of the day again - will it all turn sour again tomorrow?
Price reversing. I'm thinking of getting shares in Yo-Yo's - there are so many on Aim - lol.
Well off the radar. .......
LOL - love all the points you've raised. You forgot to add that this is hugely undervalued!
Time to shamelessly ramp this company.. In profit, scoring great contracts, and if you're a parent you have paid or will be paying towards it's coffers. Now don't you all think you should be making back money out of this?
Hopefully we have a good week. So few shares available, Will get very hard to buy if we have a rush
Thanks for all your work - keep it up, one day the world will stop ignoring this company. Still very low sp and seemingly low on the radar. I've been in for 2-3 years now and I feel they are looking stronger than ever. Could be a re-rate due. Saw your Cantor fitzgerald target - presumably that's from ages ago. It's a pity some brokers don't start touting this again.
