DPP have entered 7th city - Lublin per store map Store numbers total now 29 The rollout continues DPP is increasing stores numbers fast now up from 18 at end of 2014 which was 1 store down on same number at end of 2013
It strikes me that quite a few on here baled out a bit too early. Personally I'm long-term hold and will continue buying on the dips, if there are any, as I've done for the past six years.
My family as a whole sold 600,000 shares yesterday, which isn't showing up? We also are still invested, but also think it is overpriced at the moment, as Theanalyzer has said the price per store here is the same as DOM which seems odd.
I read yesterday, and I cannot remember where it was, that DPP has had fifteen consecutive quarters of double digit growth. I do not see that changing any time soon; and neither would Chris Moore by all accounts. His buying will be based on certain knowledge of that you can be sure. Buy now would be my advice; rather than waiting for another set of stonking results? UP 7.42% as I write. ATB
I still retain a holding which is effectively free after deducting gain on partial sale Will see what results are when interims are published and my well buy more
I suspect that Chris Moore (see above Director Deals) might disagree with you! He is the ex-CEO of Domino Pizza Group Plc (UK) - so, one imagines that he knows a thing or two about DPP aswell. He has been buying in large chunks and as recently as 28th June 2016 (another 500,000). This has plenty higher to go in my opinion. I remember looking at Domino Pizza UK, when they were just 50p....and yes, you guessed it, I didn't buy!! Arrrghhhh! I am NOT making the same mistake again here. ATB
I sold down block of share as DPP is now valued at same price per store as DOM which has mature portfolio plus growth in Germany and Nordic territories but generates a lot of cash and is buying back shares. Turnover may be £6 to £7m so valued at 10 times turnover and I suspect DPP won't be profitable for a year or so yet
GLA, doubled on this and sold out today on the good news. INMO 36 to 40p is fair value and now its on silly multiples and gone frothy. Great long termer Iam sure and will be back in if I see 40p. Good luck all.
I've been away for a while. Never thought my 20p would do this well. Seems like they are backing the company and the man. And why not?
If only it was that simple!!!
Each store valued at around £2,000,000 each !!! :D
Does anyone know anything about price monitoring extensions and what they mean? Really like this RNS and where the company is going.
I particularly liked comment about accelerated store rollout which means fast growth should continue Sounds like they will have 30 stores shortly They still have to hit some major cities like Poznan and Katowice
DP Poland now operates 28 Domino's Pizza branches in six Polish cities and has so far constructed a further two stores in its second-half pipeline. Its sub-franchisee JAR acquired its first store in April and opened its second store in June, while sub-franchisee HLM acquired its fourth store in July. "Strong like-for-likes coupled with the better-than-anticipated sales performance of our newer stores delivered robust growth in total system sales. Growth in sales, corporate store earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation, and commissary contribution underpin our confidence in our accelerated store roll-out programme," Chief Executive Peter Shaw said in a statement.
Yep, another good and encouraging set of figures.
Exceptional, nice work Peter
to possible trading update on Wednesday.
As a holder I do think price has got too far ahead but factor in the following 1 strong director buying before close period and I am talking £100,000s 2 increased number of stores opened in last 18 months which will push turnover up 3 strong like for like growth for last few periods 4 leverage model as rollout continues So continued hold for me even if price drops on interim results update
Yes Cwis, well overpriced, you should steer well clear and wait for 5p!!! Or, read up up a little about the Company and get in before the 30's become a thing of the past on the way to the 50's!!! Ha ha
These seem over-priced given the revenue figs over the last couple of years, a drop last year compared to the year before. I think ppl are hoping that there is a takeover in the offing.
topping up at this level.
Spicy :)
Splattered.
Net increase of 5 stores since year end total of 23 according to dpp website map in six months. Since Jan 2014 net addition of 10 stores from 18 to 28 in 18 months. So rate of rollout increasing.
again...lets keep going this time :)
