I believe Lord Ashcroft and his team have considerable experience in M & A's, let's hope now the tree shake is out of the way the SP will regain momentum this week ... Should be an interesting week
Acquisitions require serious work and due consideration. What M&A experience do current management and Dods have?
Boosted confidence with directors dealing ! Looking forward to next few months and prospect of acquisitions
I assume is actually the buy made by sir William
Hoping for a 14p close today
Nice, very nice.
I hope you are watching 8-p
there we go .... 14p
Recovery ! Could even see 14p on the ask today IMHO DYOR
Nice profit sir !
More bargain hunters today ! Spread narrowing !
Dods (Group) Plc ("Dods", "Dods Group" or the "Company") Director's Dealings The Company has been informed that Sir William Wells, Non-executive Director, today purchased 400,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 11.75p per share. Following this transaction, Sir William Wells holds a total of 2,472,000 ordinary shares in Dods representing approximately 0.7 per cent. of its issued share capital.
To all of you who bought in first thing this morning ! Nice recovery
The directors weren't expecting it either when buying more shares recently at 13p !
Not leaved
Neither did I sirpanda, wonder how many stop losses kicked in ? Can't be many more leaved left after this tree shake 8-)
I didn't expect this. With the low price perhaps you're right & we could see buyers. How interesting.
Showing as sells today ! Top up opportunity for me
I saw it on the dods website last week but when i clicked link i got a 404 error. It was just an educated guess the results would have been then.
We return to profit with hint of a dividend and possibly an acquisition or 2 and hey presto .. SP takes a hit ! Don't you just love AIM 8-/
Results are fab and more upside due I think, especially in light of dividends forming on the horizon. Now is the time to load up. Only a matter of time before price starts moving up again. Acquisition or dividends they say? Prefer dividends every time. Acquisitions carry cost and risk!
Good call ! Where did you find the date re the end of year results ?
Yes, CIHL has a while to go before we see the result we want.
For sure but simular situation as you re Dods .. I sold out there a while back to increase my holdings in Dods .. Wise decision in my opinion
