..... a bigger fall than it's seen previously on ex-divi dates, still some interesting movement today, so hopefully it wont take too long to recover
oops, i meant 490's !!
very quiet in here.
..... in the low 190's and will pick up the divi, but i'm hoping that this could perform well through the ex-divi date and then show some signs of recovering from this low
No explanations, but technically it could head back to 368 if the weakness persists.
Anyone explain the recent drops
liking it very much :)
Looks like this is rising in anticipation of the results announcement on the 18th May....... hopefully they are positive.
Am running the London marathon on Sunday for the animal hope and wellness that save dogs from being tortured, burnt alive, boiled alive in the Asian dog meat trade please donate what you can at Neil beedie just giving THANK YOU The page will up up till end of may if anyone would like to donate :)
Not a bad price to buy in now..... nearly 4% divi and some good brands with the new infant formula revenue stream coming fully online next year? I think the increased net debt position is scaring off investors that think the dividend will be at risk, I believe this is unlikely so am happy to hold.
Just checked my account - indeed they did, thanks. Todays drop disappointing off the back of the recent recovery rise.
They have just paid one 6.2p I believe and have no reason to not continue to pay dividends. This is a good dividend share, with an outside chance of being taken over at some point, but that's has been speculative for some time. I'm happy just getting the dividend GL
I thought DCG was on a list of companies now NOT offering dividends? Was very disappointed when I read that.
I wonder what is driving the last two weeks performance........ Any Ideas? Possibly oversold vs expectations, or a safe haven for dividend income.
Butter maker Dairy Crest is set to splash out an extra £2 million on investment at its new innovation centre in Shropshire. http://www.shropshirestar.com/shropshire-business/2016/05/21/dairy-crest-in-extra-2-million-investment-at-harper-adams-university-centre/
Good £800k purchase went through this morning and a £6 analyst update, gets this share moving up again.
Hopefully this doesn't drop much further.
Dairy crest is ripe to add to further investment for up coming dividend Dividend Record Date: Jul-08-2016 Dividend Payment Date: Aug-11-2016 Dividend Amount Current: 16.0000 p
Possible time to top up for a reliable 4% divi?
divi are due around july, I think strong possibility DCG would rise. I would off load my lot for 620 mark with div. if possible.
Results announcement on the 18th May, I wonder if the share price will rise or fall? I am waiting to buy some more share here but am waiting for the right moment.
now that DGC have off loaded milk business to Mullar Dairy, personally I cant see its shares reaching 6.50 mark. they will play around 5.85- 6.20 unless of course take over is in the air, which I believe its a long way off.
Somebody obviously thinks something today as we have broken out of the £5.95-£6.05 area........... not sure why
I can't see them paying a special divi, the sale of the milk business would have been worse financially than expected. I think the year end results will be tough but will show a vision for the future e.g 'we can clearly focus on brands'. This could play two ways 1. The vision is believed and the share price stays high and we continue to get a good divi. Or 2. It reduces and if far enough the bid speculation starts to come back and we wait for a correction in the next year. If you're staying in here it needs to be for 2 years to let things play out and see how the new company looks. IMO. Good luck
Any thoughts Fagen39
