The UK government has drawn up plans to carry out up to 10 million covid-19 tests a day by early next year as part of a huge £100bn (€110bn; $130bn) expansion of its national testing programme, documents seen by The BMJ show.
Under the plan the government will roll out testing in workplaces, entertainment venues, and football stadiums and at GP surgeries, pharmacies, schools, and other local sites to improve access. It will also roll out digital immunity passports to allow people who test negative to return to workplaces, travel, and participate in other activities.

So Mr Milton what are you saying ? You think ctea is part of this? Maybe thats why 2.5 million shares were bought late Friday?
Whether CTEA has any part of it - I don’t know - the main point is - CTEA already COVID- passport ready & their marketing then now looking to get the commercial deals . If this UK gov has any part of CTEA covid passport - it will be a huge thing. With a commercial deal we can the share price at least 10p-12p
Also buying around 2.5 million share suggests confidence investors has on CTEA. Most important part is —CTEA needs to get one deal done - then we can expect further commercial contracts. With the rising covid cases - COVID passport is a much needed thing.
Mr Milton
Excellent ! Thanks for posting that. I watched Boris in his recent COVID briefing and that's exactly what he stated the government intentions were. Despite all the endless critics who fill our airways saying we cannot achieve this that's exactly what the gov needs to do to manage COVID - test, test and test again with results automatically loaded onto a COVID. Passport.
Yes- COVID passport is the only option to track it and one deal is done- CTEA will be more deal to come. Expecting some exciting time from now on.
Covid passport has many avenues and CTEA do have the App that’s solved many issues ...
However the team developing the App may have the brains to create such the perfect software .but seems they do not have the ears of the government’s it business leaders as only have Botswana trail and sone health centre so far ....And many other software companies out there could do the same ....
Sorry to say but think the CEO needs to head hunt a sales man fast that can get done real sales and most important revenue ...
Talk of 10p + would be amazing, however if Guy does not pull his finger out soon it will be 1p as this is an AIM share ..can be ruthless - GLA
I have a feeling Ctea could be in with this! Just a feeling that’s all!
Been very quiet with everything for a while and if they are trying to pull it off with the government then for the government to use the app then the app would need to be tested like it has been and is as we speak and they have got to be totally confidence that it works how it should before they publish it out to the country/world!
Fingers crossed for everybody. This is just my feeling but I hope I am not wrong!!
Let’s do this CTEA!!!
Sorry that a lot of what I wrote didn’t make any sense, I have re read it! Sorry!
