Tapi 2018 financial results just published. Terrible numbers.
Closing stores that were on the original closure list. These stores were offered free rent for a certain amount of time! Free rent=More profitable store! Now the free rent is over why wouldn’t they clear out of the previously over priced unit. Just hold off until the next trading update and you’ll see it all pay off!!
cos he's a pathetic shorter like a lot of posters on here, why else would they bother with their sad little comments
And your motivation for posting here is............
Administration is not far off the share price is dropping each day surveyors are measuring and clients are not proceeding with the order . They are replacing full time staff with part time positions

Carpetright closing another store
"read the reviews on trustpilot" - are you having a laugh?
As with all of these review sites, if you pay for a premium account you can have negative reviews removed, the score means absolutely jack all. It's the numbers that matter, not what some 3rd party website says about service - because even if the score was 100% true, 4.6 out of 5 tells you nothing about how much business they are actually doing, and it's that financial number that will determine if they can survive financially or not. Not a star rating on a review site.
Sharp decline in retail sales eases - CBI,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, EASES,,, not increasing

Furniture and carpet sellers were the only sectors to report unchanged volumes, with some of the biggest falls seen by clothing retailers and department stores.
Am I missing something here.....
Is carpetright a carpet seller?
I tell you people, the "Market" has got this share wrong...
All it can see is Brexit doom and gloom, and retail figures poor.
This is a recovery stock, and everything is being done right by the company to assure it keeps trading in the long term.
The cva has saved this company, because they acted quickly, once they knew they were in trouble.
Read the reviews on trustpilot. They are good and 4.6 out of 5.
When I invested in companies like Marks and spencer, debenhams, thomas cook et al, the trustpilot review were staring me in the face, and I ignored them. I should not have ignored them, because customers, will dictate the future direction of a company.
Yes the share price is dire, and this does not help the company, but hold on, this will fly eventually..

If you read the article you will see that carpet sellers and furniture sellers were the least hit.
Bodes better for us, me thinks.
"quote, Furniture and carpet sellers were the only sectors to report unchanged volumes, with some of the biggest falls seen by clothing retailers and department stores."
Yes, they ,the market barrow boys, are bast***ds, I agreee.
Down 12% to 8.5p
Pathetic
sounds like your mate don't listen to your advice, maybe your mate thinks your a shorter haha
If it's any consolation to your mate, Carpetright, have an excellent reputation for putting things right, as long as you let them know of the problem.
Tell your friend to get back to Carpetright and to explain the problem, and I know they will put it right, either by compensation, or replacement etc.
Good luck anyway to you both
That's sad for your mate.
Strange though,,, because the reviews on trustpilot are excellent.
4.6 out of 5.
It looks like your mate and you were just unlucky at the time.
Never mind.
That's confirmation bias for you.
double bottom of 10p today but will CPR recover , i have been looking at CPR but still no convinced to buy.
20000 quoted as unknown at 12_04_36 was e buy
I hope so too!! The thing is, they’re set up to stay the course from the looks of things and the chat I had when I bought my last carpet. Fingers crossed eh!
Abandon ship, women and children first.
Always wondered why women came before children.
Should be children first and men second - men are stronger than women and so more likely to be able to save the children.
Women are useless.
Anyway, CPR is well beyond being brought back to life through CPR.
I’m hoping we see some increase on the next trading update? The next one should be December shouldn’t it? Going through October and November (the busiest months for them) should be a very positive update which will hopefully see the prices raise like April? I bought at 22p and will hold on until 40p-50p.
I have been saying get out of these shares for over 12 months (26p) all we get in response is hold on or even buy more.
so where are we 1 year later 10p ,well I must be wrong but I dont see how.
Its not about being a shorter just realistic.
Certainly hope so.
Hurting badly on nearly all the shares I have bought this last few years.,, This one too.
Average price 15.25p
They were happy before ,next thing company has no money, massive debts and closes 25% of the shops.
I would not trust a word these directors say.
More shops to go and to try and expand the online market ( Their prices are to high to survive on line)
"The Directors are comfortable with the company's financial position and expect that this period will provide the Company with sufficient time to seek independent Shareholder approval for the continued operation of the RCF."
Sounds like we are hitting targets
