Read these 2 articles. Its a good background to ammonia for hydrogen carrier. Ivy xu just told me that they have no contracts won but are in second phase of testing the technology. If they can use ammonia at an industrial level with this technology then it really is ground breaking. https://www.forbes.com/sites/peterdetwiler/2020/12/16/maybe-the-hydrogen-economy-will-become-the-ammonia-economy/?sh=401e402c4936

And on the subject of Ethanol demand motorists are now specifically targeting E10 and E15 as its cheaper now that E5. For me that changes the game and will lead to much higher demand and higher blends coming to the market. This is mostly in the US but must impact globally.
“at today's prices, E15 can save an average of 10 cents per gallon of gasoline (4.5 liters).”
Very encouraging update Topmoney. Really hope you are right about their hydrogen tech as i am flying blind on that one and you must have sources as CNEL does not talk about this at all on their website. The latest update i have, and reading between the lines, is that is that the 2021 results could be released in around 3 weeks after the 2020 results and most likely if any dividend is announced it will be for 2021. That is encouraging as it shows a general confidence and perhaps it can be at a higher level. of course we would all like dividend for 2020 and 2021 but i can see how that it can play out in practise and that if the company had not gone into this mess we would have probably had a dividend in 2020 but now 2020 and 2021 are now back to back they might refrain from doing that. however if we get a dividend for 2021 on a good yield it will have a massive impact on the share as yield is a key in HK. If we do get the 2021 results announced just 3 weeks from now that gives plenty of wiggle room to get trading in place. looking a bit more encouraging now but i think Ethanol is really just finding its feet globally. most countries only just moved from E5 to E10 os the global market has almost doubled overnight. while CNEL seem tucked up in the PRC they seem to be missing the global boom boom but we will see. i am sure China are still pursuing Ethanol production and we have not even scratched the potential really yet.
I personally believe that they are after unearthing new hydrogen tech that will be a global phenomenon. Green hydrogen is the buzz word. Efficient, cost effective, safe production, safe transportation method, thats the key. Cnel are onto something huge in hydrogen. If they get it right which I believe they are, cnel could be 1 of the top listed companies in HKEx. They are building a pilot plant to demo there technology. They are using ammonia as a carrier. Do a bit of research on this and you will see that ammonia makes transportation and storage of hydrogen very safe. They are on to their second phase of testing. This will be the main hydrogen tech in PRC if it works out. Why have CNEL been winning national awards for innovation. They are in the right market, in the right country. Remember prc announced 5 industries of the future for their 5 yr plan. Hydrogen was at top of the list. If this technology ticks any box we are a billion pounds company hands down. I personally think cnel are not rushing trading resumption because they want it to happen when they can announce huge milestones. Ethanol is dead in china but not Africa. Mr putin has done us a huge favour. I am 100% convinced sunbird Zambia is going to be announced. Price of fuel and more importantly energy security are top of all national agendas.
Who in their right mind would want to invest in this company, it’s obvious that the bod are bent and nobody could trust them. As usual pi’s are given the V sign and these crooks walk away with huge amounts of our cash…..outrageous!
the positive or negative relaunch of CNEl back onto HKex will largely depend on whether a dividend is announced for final 2020, half yearly for 2021 or final 2021 results and the quality and transparency of the shareholder final reports for both 2020 and 2021 that will be released later after the audited accounts are signed off. They have 5 chances to get it right. Obviously they also need to have had a fair few years of positive momentum but we must assume that is the case as they would have to report any divergence in the meantime. The HKex have been very clear that before the return to the HKex CNEL must provide a full update. The crazy thing is that to get this right is easy and could lead to a 5x re-rate overtime and open options to grow by acquisition and raise finance if needed. Clearly something you would expect all management teams would want and written into the DNA of a company. However we appear to have a management team that takes pride in trashing the company, doing dodgy deals with mates and reducing CNELs market cap to rubble making it impossible to raise funds and make acquisitions and trashing its standing amongst its peers and impacting its sales opportunities no doubt. i hope the management get a 5/5 above but nit holding my breathe. what is the real plans of the management team as that is what i am interested in. I think there must be internal conflicts that we might not be privy to as i cant work out why a management team would commit this self destruction with such conviction and vigour.
without a dividend and getting back on the open stock market, stockholders will take their money and run...
This is where the real value is as the company is in the sweet spot for a booming market.

If they do get this cleared and back on track trading wise in the next month or so, what do we think will happen to the share price? Depending on the results obviously and how good the profits are still will be the major factor but it will be wild trading when it kicks off again.
1: Could see miffed of investors dumping shares as they are sic of the BOD's lack of communication
2: Maybe a big influx of trader's jumping on board as the numbers look great
3: Insider knowledge must be very high for staff and management at the company as they've had over a year to see the value
4: Market investors could see this as a quick win share as it should be way over 10p a share (as per the IPO)
5: Possibly even the main investors looking to get more share of the company
6: Could be a toxic share based on the last years mess and everyone abandons ship
7: If a dividend is announced could see a major bounce upwards
What are everyone's thoughts? I do know I will be sitting tight as this has so much potential if the company can get its act together.
Sent emails to both. CNEL needs to reward long standing shareholders and 5 years of growing profits and big capital reserves is almost expected that a dividend is announced so we will see. Its obviously very strange times for the company and so far not a lot has changed at the top. I think we have 1 new name after all this. Richard and non execs have their work cut out to keep a closer eye on the board to stop money exiting the backdoor.
Contacted Richard Bennett this afternoon, who to his credit responded very quickly. Understandably a brief message but conveyed that in his view the priority was to resume trading and with the publication of the required reports (Annual Reports and Accounts) the requirements of the HKSE will have been satisfied, and a resumption of trading should be possible. He did also say that contacting Ivy Xu the Company Secretary was the best course of action. The email address he gave for Ivy is the same you provided(thank you), so I shall do that.

I already know that this is not going to happen. Why pay your shareholders a dividend. Horrible ppl. Think everyone needs to really get on the bandwagon and get emailing.
These boys at the top dont care about us at all. We are in seriously dangerous territory now.
Do you have contact details for either of Richard Bennett or Ivy Xu?
Thank you.
Hey guys. We need a bombardment of anger at the company this week. If a dividend isnt announced on Friday then company is a complete fraud. If theres no dividend announced we all know that the future for us as shareholders in cnel no longer exists. We have been promised share buybacks in the past that never materialised and have been offered up the suggestion that there will be a dividend discussed at the next meeting for yrs now. Well its time we get paid. Dividend has to be announced next Friday. Everyone needs to air this to Richard Bennett and Ivy Xu.
to be honoustt, I have a weird feeling this is just going nowhere and suddenly everything will have vanished it thin air, don't know how deep you are in it, I have exctly 300,000 shares ...
I really hope they do issue a divi!! i just have a feeling this is going private.....
so, that would mean, thinking very optimistic, a dividend of £0,22 pounds per share (for £1 million)? Or am I wrong here in my calculation?
Well based on the fact that we are gone past the time at which fy21 results are released, I would be expecting a double dividend as we were also supposed to be getting one last year. Based on that and fact company needs good pr i would be saying £1 million. Being optimistic £2 million but thats the most we will get. Thats just my opinion. I just want them to announce it and follow through with it. Couldn't deal with them postponing it again.
It does not say there will be a Dividend, they will look to discuss only.
what amount of dividend can be expected, any idea? I have - like all of you - lots of stock on this company being frozen for so long now...
I am in great form since news of board meeting was announced. This dividend will be a game changer. It should be a double dividend for fy 20 and fy 21. £2million dividend would put alot of my grievances to bed. Roll on friday week. Better than that. Oil prices and energy security are exactly what this company needs. £200 million market cap by August and a huge hydrogen tech announcement.
Its worth noting that I don't think a dividend would be on the Annual Board Meeting agenda if they didn't have some level of profits to offset it against. Maybe a small but interesting silver lining to a terrible year with this share and company.
I just hope they offer us a dividend. Be small offer of retribution to us shareholders. I want an update on the hydrogen tech. Thats going to be the crown jewels of the company. We should be offered a dividend payment to cover fy20 results and fy21 results
Good to see that the first date set in the last news will be met with regards to results approval. Divi would be a very nice but won't hold my breath.
Good to see some positive movements by the company to get ready for resumption of trading.
