Yeah it's nothing new is it... But at least it's something in theory CMET controls. It should move as fast as they can move it then buy the equipment and get down there... No more permissions as far as I am aware required!
When the value recognition will be is a bit lost on me though! Was hoping for a return to more sensible levels sooner rather than later.
It's really difficult listening to that, to know whether we are close to agreeing offtake, or simply still in the "strong interest" stage, but which might take several months to sort out, or need a turnaround in the macro environment, before a major is prepared to invest heavily into our capex. But good to hear MF accept that the next stage is offtake/financing, and the ball is now very much back in CMET's court here.
Reaffirming fundamentals and reassuring we’re going in the right direction. Will be interesting when the value gap closes to fair value for a development at this stage.
Interview with Frane on vox markets Zak's trader cafe. Just came up on the app.
Is anybody able to clarify exactly what the exact current situation is with our IML? In the recent RNS, MF commented as follows:
"Given the grant of these IMLs has now been successfully completed, the Board is confident in the timely issue of any further IMLs AS THEY ARE SUBMITTED FOR APPROVAL." (Emphasis added)
This is referring to any FUTURE applications that we might submit for approval. According to the most recent presentation, we had 6 IML applications that had been submitted. Therefore, am I right in thinking that currently have 4 IML applications with the GSMB awaiting approval ? If so, I'm just curious as to why there was no mention of the status of these 4 applications in the RNS, including in MF's comments?
Airborne - I agree; I know MF has his failings but this weird level of quietness post the biggest news CMET has ever had is telling. Something is brewing imo!
it has to be because they're on the final stages of sorting offtake I would say. I also think all financing will be seed-investor loaned; I'm thinking KLK will have first dibs on making a ROI on any loan. doubling down perhaps, but why give away anything to anyone else!
We must remember this was a tax shell, so there is something like £30m in the tank. hence dividends will be excellent once in production.
Now this is a pure guess but maybe Frayne literally still can't say much if news is locked in and is very market sensitive (i.e. in a closed period). The podcast he did post the IML was beyond rubbish imo and weirdly so to a point which makes me think more news is due any day hence why he could do little PR/say much.
Frayne isn't great at the promo mainly because there's been little to say but this current run makes no sense. To go from IML granted to zero promo yet he did a lot of promo when there's little to say is just unlikely. I'm hoping it's due to a big news run incoming (i.e. offtake).
Offtake is key. Market maybe not convinced by MF's bullishness and wants to see proof. Also, to see whether and if so how much of the project CMET will have to giveaway in order to secure funding.
A little surprised we didn't get any media from MF following the IML grant?
I think that's about right by my recollection as well.
So what's going to cause this SP to shift. Port is in good shape, IML is in. Does it take photos of people with spades or a digger!? Offtake news should be extremely imminent giving Frayne's enthusiasm in that department however legals do take longer than anyone ever estimates. I was hoping the IML would cause a re-rate but it hasn't so far. So EIA/IML not causing a re-rate, logic is offtake is now the one? If the revenue figures are even remotely true, at some point this should just rocket. I would have assumed the IML removed the uncertainty of not having revenue (given offtakers are a dead cert!)
HI all. Just wracking my brains for what the seed investors are in at - is it c.£1?
I think I recollect a share split at a 5:1 ratio, which is what got us down to around 20pps all that time ago.
