Anyone know why? No RNS...no major move in the metals. Yes, some bad economic news, but I wouldn't have thought it would move the SP on this scale.
Are we going back to £20? :)
I saw the post on here regarding Caracal and took a look at it. I posted on the Caracal board that the failure to secure finance was a real problem and was met with accusations of being a paid deramper. Caledonia is a far better share. Not only is it self financing it pays a dividend and it has a plan to genuine growth.

Always felt the real price of gold was manipulated and suppressed. One small bit of evidence of what is 'Real Money" and it's real worth/value! The Mosi-oa-Tunya!
I think this is relevant, don't you?
@ Coldspy
Gcat now down from 0.8p to 0.42p in 1 week. Glad I didn't put 10-20% of my gold exposure into it.
End of the day and no-one's commented on it, so I will: it was good (top end of guidance).
As you were.

Certainly, Caledonia form part of this quest with excellent recent acquisitions. Factor in the future POG and cannot help thinking that shareholders here are going to do very well in the longterm.
CMCL 3% up on the day, GCAT 18% down.
@Trojan
Thanks for the link. No idea what LSE has against Research Tree to blank out their URL but not Proactive's?
@Coldspy
I see you've copied/pasted the same ramp on half a dozen mining chat boards on LSE alone. If GCAT is as good as you say then why do you need to bother?
Shill much?
With gold flying it's the juniors that go on to outperform on an extended bull run.
CMCL is likely to do well however it won't 2 x 3 x 4 x over the next year.
GCAT is a producer that's worth putting 10-20% of your gold exposure in . Fully funded with 100% owned mine, own rigs and processing, own lab for testing, etc.
£30m+ spent on mine, $13.5m non dilutive financing secured December.
Expansion of production under way.
Market cap £15m
0.8p to buy currently.
Broker target for year end 4.2p

Despite the recent report of good operational progress, the share price has caught a downdraft.
Beyond me why the share price hasn't beaten a bog-standard gold miners ETF in 2022.
A very well managed company - growing out of profits whilst still paying 5%.
very good results and Q4 will be better again ... the big investment in the solar plant is behind us , costs will go down and cash balance will go up ...
2023 should be a very profitable year for Caledonia.
