Thanks for the update C786'' and it will take as long as it takes M8 there is no rush, as we must get it right because these are slippery little CNTS that have an answer to everything and will no doubt try and wriggle out of it..
keep them update coming while we still have a platform to communicate on, and if this get's taken down, an email to investors that have register there holdings with info@cineworld-shareholders.com works just as well IMO
Best Regards
She stopped singing a while ago, is in the ground and acting as a fertiliser.
This is like people who’ve fallen for a 419 scam getting excited because someone has phoned them saying he can help them get their money back. All it requires is payment up front…
The fat lady still ain’t singing!!
Would you buy these shares for 1p/share?
There lies your answer.
To all Cineworld Shareholders;
We would prefer to provide updates via a mailing list so we spent time on the weekend working on setting that up on our Zoho e-mail account.
This week we will decide over how best to send out updates.
• We have agreed to get one of the solicitors who we have been meeting with to commission a barristers opinion paper, which will be submitted to a group who are interested in funding our case.
• Last week we spent a lot of time getting the paperwork together for the solicitors so they can start their work.
• Once the paperwork is complete, we will feed the barrister with what we have.
• We have sent the Cineworld board a request to provide a number of answers to questions regarding the plan. We do not expect them to answer but Council feels that we should have the request registered.
• We have sent a registered letter to the administrators to raise our concerns regarding the valuation in the plan. It should have arrived yesterday but I’ve not had an opportunity to check.
• We have likewise written to the Prime Minister, the UK Treasurer and the Investigations team at the, Department of Business and Trade. The Treasurer has acknowledged our complaint and referred us to the Administrators.
As of today:
• We’ve not had anyone step up to help keep the press informed.
• We’ve not had anyone attempt to contact other large investors or otherwise help reach out to people.
• We’ve not yet had a response for involvement from our requests to involve any of the other large shareholders in the group.
Consequently, things are moving slowly but surely. If anyone would like to support / contribute we could really use some help in some of these areas and in exchange for this assistance, we will certainly keep all who are actively involved, more up to date.

Barbie and Ken Have Done Us Too lol :).
Barbie pass $1b in ticket sale, we can see why they were so desperate to change the PLC bank account to one in the Cayman island in a hurry LOL!! you can run but you can't hide'' justice will search you out no matter how long it takes
robbing CNTS
It wouldn’t surprise me.
If We Get 1p a Share I Would Take That.
Yes you haven't made a loss outside your ISA so there is no capital gains loss to account for.
I'm assuming the OP had a large holding outside of an ISA.
Margins are being increased on open bets with CINE on the 11th. IG cites expected high volatility in the coming days ... do they know something we don't?
Cloudy - nice post !
LOL Poorinvestor is a loser and he knows it
If You Hold Cineworld Stock in a ISA you have 30 Days to Keep it in there For Tax Reasons.
Freetrade App Told Me This.
‘ HRMC Says 30 Days. ’
Where?
Are people still holding on to hope??
Privately owned means your shares are gone lol
You took a gamble (a pretty stupid gamble) and lost, just move onto the next stock
Ask poorinvester (LSE’s resident Walter Mitty) to fund any legal action - he’s loaded. We know because he told us - he made a small fortune on this share, even though the SP did the precise opposite of what he predicted. It’s a gift, I tell you!
He has the advantage that he can become a legal expert just by closing his eyes, tapping his heels together three times and saying “I’m a legal expert”.
(In case you missed it, he previously said “Wolf, I have been in business a long time And I explained to you a long time ago, I’m an expert in maths….” https://www.lse.co.uk/ShareChat.html?ShareTicker=CINE&share=Cineworld&thread=5B33D0CF-864B-4D78-84FA-F9F2198D409A&page=4).
No more Cineworld share price ever again, good
HRMC Says 30 Days.
Freetrade Say This Too.
I think you have to wait for HMRC to publish them as being of negligible value or it might well be that confirmation can be given by the receiver.
If you’ve got a large holding it’s probably worth seeing an accountant I suspect.
Thanks for the information it will really help, I am also an ordinary investor. I saw lot of discussion on Cine share and was not clear whether trading will start again or we all have been ripped off, Cine will still operate- will trade again with another company name not sure what kind of logic is it, someone clearly said its not fair but its legal.
BTW what's going on in the Market, everyone seems to have gone COPL crazy for the past few days
i bought a little bit myself and it doubled cashed out and buy back in and it went on a run again, no one knows if it's a pump or not ? but it did drop from 16p to 1.6p and now back at 4.40p in the last 2 weeks FK knows but i have made back my CINE losses already, just goes to show there is still life after CINE out there.. just saying''
be lucky
What happen when the person that is overseeing the Administration have been working for CINE since 2019 ?
would there be a conflict of interest ??
I mean what's the big hurry to wipe us of the MAP ? Administration RNS on the 1st AUG and by the next day CINE is no were to be found on LSE if you type in the ticker, thank god we still have the old CINE chat so we can still communicate LOL! I have never seen a huge CO like this still taking billions across the world, been Cancelled on every platform this quickly in all my life, IT STINKS considering the C11 case is still ongoing fees are still been paid objection is still coming in and the judge only pass the disclosure statement and not the plan in it's self, because of the ongoing dispute for rent payment Cure, FK KNOWS'' but I still got my little bit added to the Cineworld shareholders group for hopefully future justice, as i think the time for hiding away your holding in the PLC has long gone, YOU MAY AS WELL ADD IT TO THE LIST'' and speak with 1 voice when the time comes
KN HELL this administrator must be judge and jury LOL!! NO ACCOUNTS CHECKS NEEDED no RNS letter to shareholders to say we are the administrator your stock is now gone to the lenders we have stripped out all the asset and cash, good bye
good weekend all regardless keep them post and thought's coming, while there is still a platform left to communicate on

Shareholders in a Pre-Pack Administration may experience a decline in share value, changes in rights and voting power, and potential dilution of ownership. They should stay informed and seek updates from administrators.
It is important to note that considerations vary and professional advice should be sought for specific situations.
Additionally, pre-packs may provide potential for future growth. A study showed that companies involved in pre-pack administration performed better than those in traditional insolvency procedures. So, shareholders may find their investments “magically” reappear after a pre-pack administration.

I am not a financial adviser so you need to check what I say but I believe the whole loss will be liable to be set against CGT. Losses are now even more important as the amount of gain you can claim before tax has been halved to £6k this year and will be halved again next year. Losses can also be carried forward indefinitely so it is important to alert HMRC to any large ones as I am told they are suspicious of big numbers that suddenly appear.
As I say I am only an ordinary investor with no financial qualifications so do double check before taking any action and do not do anything based on my opinion.
Share holders will not get any money now,it's over, time to except the money is lost.
