Other shares I have done well Recently on are lamprell which still own a lot and waiting for news and the aa where I bought in at 22.8. Cineworld though could well be the best. As can make money trading daily but worth adding to and holding as well for when the us cinemas open and a vaccine is found and these will shoot over a £1.
HL charge transaction fees don’t they? And holding fees annual charges as well?
I think you have to ride the wave so to speak. It’s a volatile share so have to follow how the share is moving. Seems to have a pattern. I text my friend when a good time to buy in. You don’t always find the bottom but you know a few minutes later and your in profit. Sometimes I sell to early. But sell in parts so still have shares of it hits a higher price
I use HL and if you go to settings from your main page once logged in (poss top right hand side corner) you can switch to live prices and works fine for me, well can be sometimes stubborn but only when receptions rubbish. Hope u get it sorted
Banksy that's interesting. Lucky to get 45 as it only just touched it. Im guessing many people are doing the same. Do you think that's part of that reason for the crazy swings? Pump then pump as such?
I use interactive brokers and pay for sharepad to.
My friend introduced me to cineworld a few weeks ago and it’s done me well. I tend to day trade but in the dips and sell on the peaks usually 3 or 4 trades a day. I also hold on to some stock for going long. For inane today topped up at 45 this morning and sold some at 56. It’s all about the timing. This share has a swing of 12 p today. That’s a day traders dream to make good money
I use trading 212. It’s real time and the charges are very reasonable for trading
open a 212 trading account
I think you can switch the setting on HL so it only shows live share prices? Atleast it does on my mine when I'm on a stocks page.
I’ve been using the Hargreaves Lansdown app and then their website for stop losses etc. Problem is they are 15mins behind live share price which is a nightmare in the mornings, so I have to keep checking the sp on google and then going over the HL to trade. Also seems really sluggish and when I’ve tried to day trade on the ups and downs the process takes so long I often miss out on a couple of pence per share either end of the waves. Can anyone reckoned a better mobile trading platform? Cheers all
