Not only will they lose you all your investment but as a customer as well they wash their hands of you when something goes wrong, ordered stock ( again may I add ) Royal Mail has delivered it elsewhere and cannot be found , I emailed customer support and here is what they say to their customers ( bearing in mind they have lots of customers and sales are going well )
Hi Paul,
I've heard back from our warehouse and distribution services and they informed me that since the proof of delivery states the item was delivered to a 'Safe Place' and considered 'Delivered', we are unable to assist you with this matter. I understand that the 'Safe Place' indicated on your proof of delivery is not an area that you recognise and, unfortunately, you will have to follow-up with Royal Mail directly.
Once the package leaves our warehouse and is considered 'Delivered', we are unable to follow-up with couriers on a customers' behalf due to privacy issues.
I apologise that we are unable to provide further assistance with this matter and understand your frustrations with Royal Mail. I would recommend that you follow-up with Royal Mail immediately as they will be able to assist you further as the recipient of the package.
If there is anything else I can help with, please let me know.
When I send orders from my shop, I take responsibility of the order until it has reached my customers hands. Whether I legally have to or not, is not important. We want, and have, very happy customers.
They must do better.
You haven't signed for it so there is no proof it got to you, he's talking rubbish and you should reply to him that he is wrong. Tell him if they don't refund you you will either start an application at small claims court (online) or you can you do a charge back with your bank.
Disgraceful.
Disgraceful!
Never had that before , companies usually chase it up as a good will gesture ! Shocking tbh
If they refuse to help you I would dispute with your credit card company as never received ….if paid on one
Sorry to hear. I assume there is no photo on the tracking page? CBX outsource distribution so what they told you is likely what they were told. Prob faster to claim from Royal Mail yourself, but also make a formal complaint to CBX that their distributors are taking the p*ss.
Also, thefts from 'safe places' are ridiculously common, they only stopped for me once I started to let my German Shepherd roam on a longer leash. Never knew what hit them, I'm sure.
The purchase includes delivery. The delivery is the responsibility of the seller. You shouldn't have to speak with the 3rd party that is bonkers, it's the responsibility of CBX to sort it out. They should offer to refund you or send you a replacement.
You didn't get your order and the shoddy so-an-so is just trying to fob you off, don't let them.
Agree totally !
Maybe they just trying it on
or person who replied is an idiot!
Who is responsible if package is delivered to wrong address UK????
It's the seller's responsibility to make sure the item is delivered to you. They should chase the courier to find out what happened to your order if there's a problem.( their courier not yours)
Good luck hope you get your parcel
