Nice finish. GLA
"increasing return on used car investment, up to 148%" Exactly what marque were they achieving those margins on and where were they getting the stock from? 148%???
Look very good, expecting to beat analysts forecasts for full year. GLA
No idea, but if still down Monday I'll buy some more. GL.
Yes but why CAMB it has fallen more than the other motor dealers and its down again today.
The whole market has fallen, unfortunately Cambria Autos has got caught up in the panic. If you believe people are ging to stop buying cars, sell up. I'm just sitting tight! After all we've just had a tasty dividend!
Down again today now fallen 17% in 2 days.
Like Warrwn Buffett I believe, "Do your research, decide to buy or not, then let it run," - unless you're altruistic and want to make your broker rich!

The curremt low oil price encourages high usage which translates to more maintenance work for garages work for garages whch must help the sp in due course. Todays tick up is enough until after Christms and Osborhe hits us with more bad news!
As a newbie I'm highly delighted with the performance so far!!
Cambria boosts M&A firepower Franchised motor retailer Cambria Automobiles’ (CAMB:AIM) strong cash reserves and new banking facilities have boosted acquisition capacity in what remains a highly-fragmented market. Sales have exceeded the £500 million milestone for the first time amid favourable market conditions, M&A and more work in high luxury and premium brands. (JC)
PBT of 7.7M! That gives a current PE of 9.4!!! Hugely undervalued, which means plenty of upside potential. This share should be valued at well above £1. We should see this in the coming weeks.
we are picking up ahead of results next Tuesday.
MOMENTUM INVESTING - CAMBRIA AUTOMOBILES I bought at 72p on 16th of October 2015.
I can't see why this share fell after the Volkswagen announcement. They don't have any VW dealerships and even if their manufacturers have been pulling the wool over the public's eyes people are not going to stop buying cars and the recalls will mean bumper amounts of warranty work for the service departments

This is postively purring after being stuck in the slow lane for year. What a change in sentiment. I am glad I didn't top-slice these yet but would love to know where it will be taking a pit-stop after this heady rise.
I post as a hold as already hold but if you are without Is it not fair comment better bought earlier ! having said it has been tipped recently on IChronicle. This company is 40 per owned by the CEO. Mr Lavery looks for a share price over 100p. this company is about cars - selling. the emphasis is on New Cars and servicing. the dividend not the bright spot - the company is growing though - recent acquisition including at Swindon. Maybe benefitting from cash release as a result of recent private pension changes and more tax on dividends of wealthier people in the budget encouraging them to spend more and invest less in overpriced bonds. the extent of interest rate rises from BOE - current projections suggest not very much and results for Cambria later this year expected to be robust. Some useful stuff on ADVFN thread where I posted a little in similarly
A fast starter this morning, I wonder if any of the bigger dealer groups are looking to acquire Camb? Vertu bought Farnells adding prestige brands to their current portfolio and constantly expanding through acquisitions.
Thanks Laughton. I knew there was a reason that buying volume seems to have changed lanes. I think this share has been undervalued for some time. The only problem with buying new shares in CAMB is that the shares lose some of their value when they leave the mm's showroom.
Yes - ST in IC online today.
as it seems to have moved up a gear today? Lots of buying so this one is really purring. I am belted in for this rise.
