Sp up 6% on no buys or sells.
That is well over 10% of the company.
Someones stake building big style, Fireworks soon ?
I was happy with my holding here, am now thinking it is probably to light, have to release some funds from somewhere.
I on the other hand have also bought in in the last couple of weeks - but at a much smaller level! I reckon this has plenty of potential to swing up by the end of 2009. Lots of value both short and long here I think.
By my calcs thats about 4% of the company that Barclays and the directors have bought in the last couple of weeks.
Barclays buying 800k shares is a good indicator to the good value this sp is.

I think they are going to sell of some of their loss making plants in the UK as there is so much over capicity. The UK is bad for bpi in most sectors, Europe is where the money is!
Thanks for that , i missed it. They are all topping up at this price either because it is well oversold or some good news around the corner?

This is surely about to erupt. Brokers rate it a strong buy, directors bought 200k shares last week, there are only 26.5m shares, mkt cap is a paltry £32m and this is the largest polythene manafacturer in Europe. Since director buying buys have outnumbered sells considerably virtually every day.

When does this share go EX Divi?
How low will this price go, Is some thing going on, further plant closures, sell offs?
I have shares in these and was quite disappointed to see their costs rise and hence share prices drop. I've read some of the other topic, and there could be something there ... new type of plastic bags or something along the lines. Not sure what the likihood of a venture here, but Stanelco could be an investment

BPI :- Anyone know why this share has suddenly risen ? Answer ... it hasn't .. nothing SUDDENLY about it .. a 1.28% rise today and a steady rise since Nov 05. I fail to see what you are talking about ? A 20 - 25% rise, like some stocks today, is a sudden rise .... k ?
