Papertub, thanks bro, i think most of us know a bit about diversifying our investment but this does not answer the question of: communication/ inefficiency/ or integrity?
If you're investing in shares like this you need to understand the risk and mitigate that risk by spreading your investment. If you put all your money in to one investment then I hope you learn for the future. But you should really try and weigh up the chance that this investment will be successful (I would say around 20% for BOU), and also try and estimate the potential returns. If you have 5 investments at a 20% likelyhood of coming good, one should come through, and if you have chosen investments with a high enough return, one of the shares coming good should cover your losses on the other shares.
Anyone in possession of shares at the last AGM voted FOR all the board members

Surely an RTO is the simplest thing ever. It's like setting up a pub in the city (not under COVID) haha
Papertub, there are good and bad companies on aim, surprisingly I'm invested in other aim companies that treat their shareholders with respect and have good communication imagine that!. People invested here not based on the BOD but mainly on antos and the opportunity an RTO offered. They certainly didn't invest in an ongoing company to be run by this BOD. We wrongly assumed that with a investor like antos and a clean cash shell that even this useless bod couldn't mess it up. Lesson learned.
He is a tool!! Incompetent chairman
"Allan is a serial failure though" yet you invested in him???
If you want a company that has good shareholder communication then don't trade on AIM
I don’t need to become hostile, I already am!
We need to know what percent the RI hold and if any II would be willing to join a meeting. We could become hostile
In all seriousness is there any way we can take some sort of action. Such as form a shareholder group or some other recourse. I know that when a company is listed you can demand a meeting with enough shareholders but I don't know what the rules are now we are delisted so maybe someone has a better understanding than me. I'm surprised antos isn't kicking up a fuss. There's got to be something we can do as this is an absolute disgrace.
Allan is a serial failure though just remember:
resigned from 32 companies
held 10 appointments at 10 dissolved companies.
haha what a joke Allan Syms is
so he is happy to advertise for his other project but can not find the time to reply to his emails!

Although the company I run has no shareholders (limited by guarantee), I would be out of a job if I behaved like the BOD here. The only excuse they could have is to do with confidentiality, but I doubt now that is the case and more one of greed and incompetence. Always happy to be proved wrong though. Been an expensive lesson for many of us & time the pain was ended, either way.
Just remind me what exactly was the latest update?
Communication between co and shareholders is absolutely joke. E.g. NUOG, RLD, BERM, VELA, SYME, PAL and much more, bod there were able to inform SH about progress. Anyone smart enough to answer (if this is true) how is possible to be over 3 months in final stages!!!?? Why other co are fine with listing even due COVID? This is the most unprofessional BOD. Why don't they want to resign so anyone else will complete transaction?!?!
The communication here has been terrible and reflects very poorly on the bod. Regardless of whether they are closing in on a RTO completion (which I highly doubt) they should have been in regular contact with updates. The shareholders at least deserve that considering they have drawn this out for so long long. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour. They have shown that they have no regard for the shareholders who were the ones that paid their wages and enabled them to continue on a cash shell. Without us they would have had no money and it shows that they don't appreciate it.
I am with you on that Tra1, although my finger was hovering over the sell button with a minute to go before suspension.
well, i am not sure if anyone agrees with that. We made an informed decision based on the presence of a target which was repeatedly mentioned in all communications before and after suspension. If it has not worked out, then we deserve to know the reason and why they have not tried another target in the past 1.5 years! If they can not bother to reply, we have to consider other routes which i would not discuss right now)
All of us had the opportunity to sell before suspension.
Either it comes good or it doesn’t? It was a choice and a risk.
If we bankrolled the BOD and they go bust so be it and let’s make better choices next time. If they come up trumps enjoy it.
I think they will come up with an option but they may not. And we move on.
