Hi Ortus,
I've just done a quick EPIC search on HL platform for some recent IPO's and to be fair all come up as 'OK' for SIPP and ISA.
I tried PBEE, FAIR and MMAG to name a few.
I've had an issue previously where a stock I wanted to invest in was not available in one or the other, mainly this was for new issue AIM stocks. Hence my request to HL I posted last night. I just wanted to check for my benefit and others here that both options would be available.
Another poster made a valid point earlier about at least having the option to slice if the return on listing was significant.
Maybe HL can't actually answer my question until the prospectus is issued. I'll keep you all posted.

My opinion on this is the brokers/platforms won’t know the situation yet. We as shareholders need to approve the proposed transaction and that info will go to the relevant platforms with consolidated share amounts, exchanges etc
Lovelyboy / anyone else
Are you aware of possible reasons why the relisted shares may not be allowed in a SIPP? The shares I have in my SIPP are still there (unlike the ones that were in my ISA) and I thought it was a given for an LSE main market listing?
Thanks LB.
I also think we have all sounded off at some point, but here’s hoping for a rosy future.
I've contacted HL tonight regarding SIPP holdings. In precis I have posed 4 theoretical questions:-
1) will they be holdable in a SIPP after relisting?
2) do I need to sign anything, or provide additional information to enable point 1?
3) what happens if the newco shares are not eligible for holding in a SIPP? (possible!)
4)In order to regain a tax benefit is there any potential bed&isa (or indeed bed&sipp) option available for my isa holding that moved to a general trading account on delisting?
I guess it may depend on the details in the prospectus but I'll post the reply if/when I get it.
Trying to redeem myself. I feel a bit dumb for sounding off a couple of weeks ago. Should have been just a little bit more patient. A lesson to take forward.
